great quality, dog loves them, smell like death
My dog instantly went nuts for these. She is frantically pacing around trying to hide the one gave her taking breaks only to chew on it for a while. They smell horrific, like way worse than bully sticks usually smell, which I can only assume means they taste great.

My Dog Loves These!
We chose to buy these raw hide free chew sticks for our now two year old chi-mix and he loves them! They are braided and my dog has learned to get them apart into three separate strips in record time. So, for him, it's like he hit the jackpot! Three! But seriously, my dog loves these things. They keep him busy and are good for his dental health. They do have a slighlty gross smell when wet from dog saliva. I only know this because one was left right next to my face one morning while I was still in bed sleeping. I woke up wondering what that awful smell was! I give these an A++ and highly reccomend. Just don't get too close to a freshly chewed stick until it dries.

But...the SMELL!!! Ugghhhhh....
I bought these as an "upgrade" from the thin chews, from the same brand, for my 10lb Chinese Crested puppy. He can chew through the thin sticks in about an hour. He's a healthy, strong chewer. He LOVES these....and I want to give them to him.Butttt....the smell!!!!!It makes me gag. And I can smell them all over the house. He has chews all over the house. I thought he left his "land mines" everywhere, until I finally figured out it was his new, thoroughly loved, beloved chew.I'm not sure I can get by the awful smell. I took it off auto ship while I'm looking for a new braided pizzel for him without that atrocious smell. Poor Bao Chopstick will have to learn to love another, unfortunately.

Excellent choice better price.
Better than expected. I usually spend 8-12 dollars each for similar product at petco. It was getting highly expensive so I figured I'd give these a go. My dog loves them. I was so excited when they came today I didn't wait for him to finish the old one. He really likes them. If you have a finicky chewer these are great! For those of you that wonder these are the 5"-6" he won't chew smaller. He can chew through one in about 4 hours if left to do so. He is a heavy chewer. Splitting the braids he ends up with 2-3inch pieces after a 4 hour chew session. 5-6" is great for experienced chewers of small breed(7-10lbs) and best for pups between 12-40 lbs. The tiny ones are a good starting place for very small dogs with no experience chewing or limited in range of motion(puppies or teacup). This product is cleaned, dried, and braided bull penis(pizzle). It is the safest form of "bone" you can give to your dogs. Rawhide can cause digestive issues and in general isn't good for oral hygiene. The bully sticks are fully digestible and provide hours of entertainment. In my opinion(that of someone purchasing these products for years) Bully sticks are preferable to most dogs, 12 inch sticks are best for larger dogs between 60-120 lbs. Larger dogs would need a few of these to satisfy their chewing urges. If you don't like the smell that comes from the non-deodorized version they come deodorized. I do however think you will disappoint your pooch... it's a part of the chewing experience.

These have become thinner and smaller for a higher price
These are expensive enough without getting further ripped off on quality and quantity. Very disappointing. They are shorter, thinner, flimsier and all around poor quality. Shrinkflation at its finest.

My dog got sick the next day
Made my dog very sick. Gave it to her yesterday and today she didn’t want to eat which is odd because I give her the same food every day. She hasn’t been sick in months. She then cried loudly came running to me freaking out and threw up orange red. And had been shaky and weak. Planning on taking her into the vet tomorrow if she worsens.

Great product and a decent value
Both of my dogs love these bully sticks. I started out buying the 5-6" ones and realized that they were going through them quickly. Also, my one dog gets down to the last two inches of it and then swallows it whole. I try to keep an eye on her because the last thing I need is her choking. The 11-12" sticks are the exact same as the 5-6" ones - just longer. I think they get more chew out of the longer ones (I'm not throwing away as many small pieces) and they are priced better than the 5-6" ones when you look at price/count. By the way, my dogs are 9 and 17 pounds, and they both go to town on the long ones. I just take them away when they are a little less than half done because I don't want them to overdo it.I recently bought another brand. I was wanting to see a couple of things: (1) what the size was of the other ones (they were both 11-12", but I was not sure how wide they were); and (2) whether they liked them and/or took them longer to eat. It's all about having a healthy treat at a reasonable price and, yes, these are expensive. So, here are the results of my experiment: (1) basically the same size; (2) they don't like them as much. I do periodically see them chewing on them (which is good because they were almost double the price - basically five bully sticks that were the same price as the Nature Gnaws package with ten). I guess I can look at it this way...since they are not eating the other ones, they are lasting longer. Haha. But that's not why be buy these things - for us to waste our money products they don't enjoy.I know some folks have commented that they stink. There is definitely a smell to them (as there was for the other brand), but it wasn't terrible. My dogs eat them in the house and they eat them outside. Doesn't bother me either way. I will say that sometimes when I take it away from them and put it on the bathroom counter and forget...I will be at the sink and think...what is that smell? Then I see the half-chewed bully stick. I just chuckle. It's not bad unless you are hyper-sensitive to smell. But then I can't imagine most dog owners are hyper-sensitive to smells because dogs can be...well...smelly!!! :)
