AUTOGRAPHED book by PBN designer
Before Bob Ross, the reigning king of formulaic mediocrity was Hal Robbins, the recently-deceased designer of dozens (hundreds?) of Craft-been Master PBNs. Written in a conversational style, we get the history, rise and fall, of the leading PBN brandin the 50s and 60s. I grew up with a number of his works on the walls completed by my maternal grandmother and great aunt. Culminating in a show in the Smithsonian, it is a testament of how common, popular PBN art could reflect American culture in a national museum exhibit.

Must Have for PBN Enthusiasts......
An Excellent way to learn about the early days of Paint by Number from the man himself. Dan Robbins writes in a very easy manner and will make you smile and laugh while reading.

Neat!
A great read. It's got a bit of everything for PBNers. Not exactly a collectors book, but a fun, well writen account. Probably the only book written on PBNs. And from the (Craft) master himself!
