This tea cozy is both pretty and functional. The material is thin, but it still manages to keep tea hot. It looks well made, no flaws or frays. I like to take my time drinking tea, which was resulting in cold tea about half-way through a cup or pot. Now I just pour as much as I want to sip at a time.I tested the cozy with just boiling water and checked it every 10 minutes. The water stayed sufficiently hot for 1 hour and 20 minutes before noticeably cooling down. Factors that could reduce the time it stays hot would include opening the teapot lid multiple times and adding a milk or creamer. The inside bottom has a cork base which is zippered in and removable for washing.

This is a really cute dark navy (not black!) tea cosy. I can't wait to put it to use, sharing a pot of warm tea with friends on cool autumn evenings. I like that it protects wood furniture and that it is machine washable.

I like its ease of use and that it keeps hot beverages hot for about 2 hours. I was disappointed in the color. It looked red in the photo but definitely orange with an orange ribbon.

I received a darling teapot for my birthday just before Christmas along with an endless tea assortment. I have always enjoyed tea but never had so many blends from which to choose, so I find myself brewing a couple of pots daily. They are, of course, shared with family members, but I discovered quickly that the teapot did not retain heat for very long. I went online and ordered my cozy as I had seen on numerous other teapots, and waited. It arrived in less than a week and was absolutely everything I imagined it would be. The dimensions were precise; the design was exact; the charm was so obvious, and the price was unbelievable... and contrary to one review I read, this cozy performs beautifully! My tea stays nice and hot till the last cup is drunk. Thank you to the creative hands that stitched this darling cozy! I genuinely love it!

I bought this to go over my white teapot my Mother bought me over 50+ yrs ago and it fits perfectly. Keeps the tea warm and I enjoy the decorations on it. You can't go wrong for the price of this tea cozy. I'm happy I purchased it.
