7ft U.S. Indoor Flag Set by Valley Forge

Great flag set. I am not a fan of the gold tassel thing so I don't use that but the flag is very sturdy and well constructed fabric and attached to the pole very well. The base is great and comes with extra pipe to make it more snug of a fit if needed but I didn't have to use that either. The pole fits perfect into the stand and when filled with sand it is very sturdy and holds the flag in place well. The eagle topper is a nice touch and is big enough to be seen but not so big it makes storing a problem. Yes the flag set is expensive but it's made in the USA and who doesn't like that especially when buying an American flag. The pole is very sturdy. Nice solid wood and the screw in where the 2 pieces come together are very strong. I would recommend if you are using it to be carried often you may want to think about reinforcing it but for simple display and flag ceremonies it is fine. I bought this for my Cub Scout Pack and we are very pleased. We use it for flag ceremonies for our Pack Meetings. 5 stars I recommend. Nice if it would be cheaper but I think the price does fit the quality. Very good quality and not cheap out of country construction.

This was a great looking Flag Set. Unfortunately we only used it for our club for one meeting. The Restaurant burned the following week and the flat was a total loss. Be aware that the Flag was perfect if a bit large for the 7 foot pole. The pole was good quality, with brass connection fittings. The plastic eagle and base looked good as well, at least before they melted. I think this is a good value and our club would be re-ordering if a local organization had not volunteered to replace the flag free of charge.

Arrived with the eagle topper broken. Contacted seller who got a replacement out in a well protected box really fast with no hassle. Very happy with the flag and pole. Ended up replacing the nylon flag with a cotton version, but the nylon flag was good quality.

to keep the sand in

I use this in my office and always get compliments on it. This is a high quality, professional flag set. It looks and feels exactly like what is used by the military, politicians, etc. Having been a member of the US Army Honor Guard some years ago I'd like to think I know a thing or two about these things ;-)

As a member of the Sons of the American Revolution (Coachella Chapter) I couldn't have been more happy then to display this well crafted "MADE IN AMERICA" Flag with wooden staff ( as those of military grade) for our meetings. The craftsmenship is exceptional. As to the complaints of the Base and the Eagle being made of plastic. Rest assured they are sturdy and you will not find a better product at such a low price.

At a distance, the flag as a display is fine. However, if needed in a prominent location or heavy traffic area, I would recommend something more sturdy. The materials were very light weight, to included the base, and the staff already had nicks in it. Average components and above average pricing just don't add up IMHO.
