JJ Cole Heather Storage Box, 11-Inch, Blue

We purchased these in preparation for our new baby. They started holding baby and diaper supplies for us to use and now a year and a half later have turned into toy bins for her. We were able to re-purpose some of our existing furniture to make it more kid friendly. We've used a combination of these bins on bottom shelves full of toys and the smaller bins on the above shelves with smaller toys and books. I have also found them handy on a self near our front door for all those extra things you need quickly as you're running out the door with someone in your arms. We now have 6 larger, 4 small, and 2 matching hampers used through out the house; and in the brown they match both in her room and in the public areas of the house.We also move every couple years and once the bins are emptied into moving boxes the bins themselves are inconvenient to pack and we have broken numerous different types over the years. I look forward to our next move with these, and being able to collapse them all and put them in a moving box as well.-- Simple but great product, the uses for them are endless; and so good so far holding up to a toddlers use.

I purchased the cocoa stripe 11" storage boxes a couple of years ago. I bought 8 of them for toy storage for my now 3 year old and 8 year old. They are used on a daily basis and have held up extremely well. They are practically in the same condition that I purchased them for, which was more than 2 years ago.These are the perfect size for toys. My daughter puts her baby dolls and barbies in them. My son has railroad tracks and blocks in them. They hold up well for light items and heavy items. My kids will pull out a few boxes to play with everyday.These are obviously great for the kids, but I love them as an adult too. I bought the chocolate colored boxes and they complement my contemporary style family room very well. It is extremely nice to have a storage option for toys that does not upset the "adult" family room style.I always try to find a happy medium between all of the extra stuff that kids bring along and beautiful and easy to maintain decor. I am going to a baby shower and have several small items I am giving. I wanted some way to contain them, but didn't want to use a gift bag that would just get thrown away. Someone gave me grandmother gifts in a tote similar to this when my first grandchild was born. The tote has come in handy for storing those small baby toys. It is packed with those baby toys and in the closet now awaiting the next round of babies. I selected this storage box to contain the shower gifts because brown is one of the colors being used in the new baby's nursery. I found a cute little tag in the wrapping section at the store and have attached it to one of the handles. This will be a nice added gift.

I love these boxes. I've been slowly filling my house with them for about 8 years since right before my first son was born. I still have all the old ones because they last forever, and I keep buying more. I've used them for everything from books to craft supplies to shoes. They're great.

I use this box as a storage place for a variety of small items. It sits in a "cubby" hole in a larger wooden storage frame in my living room. The color and stitching detail is quite trendy and updates the look of my antique storage area.

I like the style of these boxes; that was my primary reason for purchasing them. I wanted something that didn't look cardboard with felt over top of it and I also needed certain dimensions to fit on my shelves and these fit the bill. Normally I would never have paid $17 per box, but I wanted gray, I wanted 11x11 in size and I wanted a modern clean look and these were the only ones I found that met all my requirements. Unfortunately, they are really not great. I ordered 12 at $17 a piece. They are still (not surprisingly) just cardboard, and the fabric isn't even glued on or at least not consistently. It has started to pucker all over the fronts after just a couple days and this isn't just one "defective" one, it's happening to all of them. Also the colors are inconsistent, some are closer to a denim blue in color and others are more gray - overall they are more blue in color than gray. I had expected a sort of "gray flannel" look but it's more of a blue denim look. I wish I could return them, but I threw away all the packaging before the fabric started to pucker. Really disappointed, especially when I could have bought an entire additional bookshelf or cabinet for the price I paid just for these boxes.

I purchased one of these when my baby was born for toy storage, and have found myself purchasing two more over the past several months. They are a great size for small toys, have great handles, and fold up really small when not in use. We can pick up the living room quickly and stow this in the bedroom without a lot of hassle. I took away one star because the sides are made of canvas-covered-cardboard, and if someone puts too much weight on the box it could be permanently crushed.Update: After 2 years of constant use, including our toddler leaning on them with all her weight, they still look like new! Changing my review to 5 stars, especially considering the price!

Very nice for storing items or clutter you don't want seen. Fits onto black bookshelf very nicely, three of them in a row. However, not sturdy enough for toys. My grandson had the edges around handle tore open in no time. Not for kids at all. I originally bought for his trucks and cars, etc. This proved wrong. I was able to fix and use for other purposes. WILL NOT TOLERATE KIDS!

This was bought to store a few toys in for when the grandchildren visit.It's worth every penny. Not only does it look good, but holds a lot morethan I expected. A very well made, strong and sturdy storage box, thatwill look really good in any room. When the grandchildren grow out oftheir toys I look forward to using the box for my craft items. ThoughI'll probably buy more of these before then!!

Very strong and sturdy toy box, should be really useful for chucking the kids toys into. Nice colour and flat packs for storage too.

Nice looking box, easy to assemble! Just what I was looking for to store my sons toys I the lounge! Considering buying a second one.
