Met my needs
Everything fit together as it should and all the parts were included. The quality of the parts are all just barely up to the task, but that’s the price point. Especially the latches are flimsy, I used some other latches that I happened to have laying around and it’s much better. It’s small so I use mine inside a 10x6 ft. chicken run. There’s no way my 2 chickens would be satisfied with just the tiny run included.

Good starter coop
Wood is fir so you need.to pre drill for screws to keep from splitting use a good weatherproof glue and the coop is sturdy .nothing was broken and fit well together I did upgrade the latches.you couldn't buy lumber and build for this price. It's small so I think 3 grown chickens max but a good starter coop.and if you grow it wood make a good chick starter coop

Decent cheap lightweight chicken coop
Pros: I have had this coop for about 6 months and it is holding up fine so far. I have 4 chickens living in it, which seems to be a comfortable maximum as long as you are giving them free range outside the coop in the daytime, as we are. It is pretty easy to clean - it just takes 5 minutes, once or twice a week. It looks good in the backyard and is quite functional. While I don't know if any predators have tried to get in yet (we have plenty of foxes, bobcats, coyotes, racoons, etc in our area), I am pretty confident that this coop, when fully closed up at night with the chicken inside, would keep anything other than a black bear out.Cons: it was a nightmare to assemble. The instructions are TERRIBLE. It took 6 to 8 hours in total, with multiple trips to the hardware store to buy additional fasteners that weren't included in the kit. If you look at my photos, you can see that I had to use additional (not included) L-brackets to support the interior tray (which is otherwise great for easy cleaning, btw). I also used many of those L-brackets inside the coop to stiffen the connections between the walls. I think it would fall apart in months without the additional stiffeners. Every time you move it in your backyard, you take months off of its lifespan. Oh, I also had to buy a small caribiner to fasten the nesting box and a hook & eye closure to fasten the front door (which you never use anyway). You can see all of these in the photos.Oh - watch out for the connection between the ramp and the coop house. Once you have fully assembled the product, the first time you lift it up to move it, the ramp will snap off. But it's not the end of the world - you just prop it back up in the same place without any fixed connection and it works fine. The chickens walk up and down it without knocking it off.All that said, we are 6 months in and its still holding up ok, albeit with some extra wire and duct tape here and there to keep it together. Overall, I am fully satisfied (although if you had asked me midway through assembly, I would have cursed its manufacturer with many unprintable words). I think this coop will last one to two years, at which point we will probably replace it with a much sturdier and more permanent structure. But as an introduction to keeping backyard chickens, this was the perfect product. Just be ready to buy some extra fasteners :-)

Just what I was expecting.
Kind of fragile, easy to assemble. The nesting compartment can be pushed up and compromise the chicken's inside. I had to drive some screws to avoid my dog getting the chicks.

Hard Pass
Typical poor quality Chinese productDid not have high expectations but was still disappointedAs prior reviews state the instructions are abysmal, the wood requires additional pilot holes to be drilledI cant imagine that this will survive the first rainstormWish there was better domestically produced product at a decent price but the market is just flooded with this level of shoddy product

Exceptionally designed
Exceptionally designed, excellent quality. Is good when you start to raise chickens for the first time, but also if you already have chickens. Also, it is easy to build if you're good are following instructions. I am not, but my husband is. He built it in less than an hour.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. Bought some chicks and wanted to get something that looked decent without breaking the bank. Definitely a 2 chicken max kind of coop. I have 4 chicks, so I’m planning on building something bigger myself once they start to out grow this in the next couple of months. Directions were probably the worst I’ve ever had. Stuff wasn’t labeled and you’d have to measure the screws and go through the pamphlet to figure out what part is what. If you want something for one or two chickens that doesn’t hurt the wallet this is for you. Anything more than that do yourself a favor and buy something bigger and better quality.

I have, but Great Thinks about this Item
The media could not be loaded. This is a pretty sweet little coop for my 3 young hens. For safety, this is great! All enclosed... Safe from predators and the elements. What a nice hutch. I wish I had bought one long ago. I always hesitated because I was trying not to spend $ but really, this is great. I took some photos of a few minor problems. The wood is cedar and there are some delicate pieces but it arrived safely. I read the reviews, and everyone complained about how small it is. This coop is not that small as indicated by other reviewers, especially if you were already informed of the diameter under the product description with the photo that shows all the dimensions. We all seem to ignore such details and start complaining. The wood is not necessarily the expensive one, but what were you expecting?I love it, my 3 young hens love it - Well, I'm one of the satisfied customers
