Would these flower toys work in a sandpit?

Yes I believe they would, bearing in mind the stems are made up of individual pieces about 2 to 3 inches long so would of course easily be covered with sand

The one we have was made in china but bought from the UK if that makes sense. Really good quality toy.

It has no instructions

It doesn't need instructions. Take it out the box and play with it. My kids love it.

Do the plastic bits join together easily for. 3yr to do?

This set was bought for my 5 year old Granddaughter. She loved them and could easily assemble them into a creative arrangement, but I don't know if a three year old could do it so easily. It is a great set, as it had a nice container for all of the pieces to go. There are small pieces in the set.
