GENUINE GOVERNMENT AIR FORCE PILOTS SUNGLASSES BY “AMERICAN OPTICS” (57 MM, Black)

These look fine and seem ok for sunglasses, but nothing special and even the largest size slips. These were the second pair we ordered because the first pair was too small. We kept those and gave to a child and they fit fine. Then we order ed the largest size available from this manufacturer -still too small and we sent them back. Maybe these are used by professional pilots, but they all have smaller than average sized heads? I don't think so. Also, we had to pay to return the glasses - shouldn't have to pay to return something that doesn't fit.

My first pair of AO sunglasses was in the Air Force and that was in 1969, this is a proven great and very much copied, stay with the best American Optical!

Obvious fake knockoffs. First of all they weren't even fake American Optics and didn't even match the photo or the description. They were cheap, fake Ray Ban look alike, packaged to look like Ray Ban but the tag says Lei Peng. Not what I ordered. Buyer beware. I'll chalk this one up to stupidity.

Absolutely classic and durable frame.

Have worn these types of frames since the early 60s. Great and comfortable frames; scrap the sun glass lenses and replace them with prescription lenses.
