Pen was long enough to hold in a fist-grip. It can be disassembled to reveal the reversible tip to get to the pen, or leave the punch tip out. The tip is hard enough to break safety glass. The whistle doesn't seem to be that loud until you get the blowing technique right. The keyring was kinda meh. I guess you're supposed to put it on a quick-release clip. The ten refills are just a bit of meh. All in all, seems solid enough to be a weapon.
