Grund Puro Series 100% Organic Cotton Reversible Bath Rug, 24 x 40 Inch, White, 6 Sq ft

Our dog spends much of the 18 hours a day that he sleeps on this rug. The same dog who acts like our bed is too hard for him unless we put an extra blanket on it. (Yeah, I know he's spoiled and worse, he knows it, too). That should tell you that this rug is soft and luxurious. Yet it also looks quite elegant, even with dog hair on it, which is rare for bathroom rugs. The soft ones usually look like a wet rat after one use. So, stop your search already and just buy this one!

UPDATE, 2020-01-28:For those struggling to find a way to keep the smaller bath rugs from moving around, I suggest you try my very low-tech solution arrived at after having one solution pull the yarns out from front to back---carpet padding, double-sided gripper tape, and small safety pins. (I did say it was very low tech.)I placed a small piece of the very sticky tape in the center to stabilize the carpet padding itself from that point. Next came the Non-Slip Extra Thick Gripper pad cut to leave a border around the edge. And finally---since my padding from another job had openings in it---I used small safety pins to attach the padding at the corners only. Even w/this solution you must be very careful how you treat that gripper tape. Yanking it off will more than likely take loops of the rug with it, so be careful!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Needed two bath rugs/mats—will never buy latex-coated again—and purchased two in the smallest size after reading about lengthy drying time. Machine-drying them, as per their easily-removed sewn-on labels, had no negative effect on their size.Initially purchased the color Panna w/o realizing it means "bread" in Italian, in this case "white bread" since it's almost white. Returned for Driftwood which better blends into beige-family floor tiles.Very happy so far; can recommend, and would buy again if needed.

I love the weight, thickness, and color of the rug. The drawback is that there are TWO large labels sewn into the rug. I understand the need for a label, but there didn't need to be two of them, and the label didn't have to be so large. I'm hoping I can remove them, especially since I prefer the side the labels are sewn into. I just received this rug, so it hasn't seen any wear. I'm going to use it in front of the toilet in the powder room just in the winter. It won't be getting wet, and I haven't washed it yet. So I can't rate "absorbency" or "easy to clean." When I wash it, I'll follow the instructions and see how it does. I may update my review when I wash it.

Very thick and high quality. Washes easily and had gotten a couple of dark spots on it that came out with a basic wash machine setting and no pretreatments. The drying part was less than optimal. It took over two days to air dry and we live in a dry atmosphere. I honestly don't know how long it would take to air dry in a humid climate. I dried it in the dryer on low which was better and it held up nicely. I've washed it at least 6 times and it still looks brand new. It is not shedding or unraveling. Worth the money. Well made product. I purchased the tan and the color looks like west coast sandy beach color.

I was definitely surprised how thick these rugs are and comfy to stand on. I was looking for a organic cotton rug without the rubber backing (nasty chemicals that release into the air). There weren't any reviews on these rugs when I ordered 2 for our house so I took the chance. So so glad I did. Love these rugs. Dries quickly. The pictures don't do these rugs justice; way nicer looking in person, very pretty rug. I ordered the 17" x 24" that is the perfect size in front of the shower or bathtub, not too big and not too small, just the right size. Yes these are a little more money than cheap rubber backed rugs from Wal-Mart but worth it. These rugs will last for many years. So glad I made the purchase and would definitely recommend.6/22/16 Update:We have had these rugs for a little over a year now and they still look great. The rugs wash really well and have been washed many times.

I really love these rugs. I had originally ordered the Asheville but returned it for the Puro instead and I'm so very happy with them. They are heavy weight so don't slide around a lot, even though they don't have the rubber backing. The Driftwood color is a soft taupe, really nice. The Panna color is a lovely stone color, and I really like them. The quality is like none you will find in a department store. I cannot yet attest to how long they will last, but since they have a 5 year warranty I am assured they will look nice for a long long time. When I contacted Grund customer service with an issue I originally had with the Asheville rugs, they bent over backward to be sure I was pleased. I cannot say enough about the rugs and this buying experience.

I purchased two of these rugs in Panna color. The rugs are a nice quality. My only complaint is they are featured as "reversible". However, there is a black sewn in tag (with washing instructions etc.) on one side that cannot be completely removed. I used a small pair of scissors to cut as much of it off as I can but there is then still noticeable black tag showing on one side. Being I went with the Panna color, which is a light tan/cream, this is very noticeable. So for that reason I feel they are truly not reversible unless you are ok with this being seen on one side.

I've had a few different bathroom rugs. This is the nicest I've found. I had previously purchased a Pinzon that is nice, but this is much plusher, denser, and more comfortable underfoot. Definitely the best I've found. I had other ones from Bed, Bath, and Beyond that were not as nice and didn't hold up well. I prefer the fully washable kind with no rubber backing like this. I need one that fits under the bathroom door when it opens/closes so I can't use the ones that have foam or padding, but this one is perfect because it doesn't need any padding. I haven't washed it yet, but I'm very happy with it so far.

This is the best bath runner I've ever owned. It's very plush, hefty, and organic! I've also tried a few bath runners with similar size. Some had rubber backings which the often caused balancing issues with the washing machine during spinning cycles.

Soft. Great quality. Washes well. No pulls. Thick. Certified organic. I love this mat and will order another one.

An absolutely beautiful, soft bath mat. It was delivered within days of placing the order. I ordered this small one for my camper but I’m so happy with it that I’m going to buy a few more for the bathrooms in my house.
