If you're looking for a portable and light little dolly that will help you haul items that aren't super heavy, this is a WONDERFUL little tool.I injured my rotator cuff recently so I needed something to transport my work bag back and forth from work and this did the job perfectly. I attached my large shoulder style messenger bag to it, attached it on with the built in bungee cord, and transformed my bag into an instant rolling backpack!Now let me be clear, this item is NOT for any heavy haulin and this is fine becuase it is NOT advertised as anyting that can carry anything over a certain weight. If you need something for moving, look elsewhere. This item is for portable, and comfortable transportation. I've used this to haul items from the car when I didnt want to take multiple trips, and I've used it to haul a small Air Conditioning unit that I didn't feel like carrying myself. I don't recommend hauling anything heavier than an Air Conditioning Unit as I felt like that was the dolly's limit.Anyways, to wrap this whole thing up, this thing folds down into a REALLY compact format. It's extremely light and comes with a bungee cord to secure whatever you need help carrying. You can slap a box onto it and carry your groceries, or you could use it like I did, and make a makeshift rolling bag! The bottom line is that this thing makes carrying stuff a lot easier and its light enough and folds down small enough that you can tote it around with you without much of a problem at all.

I own two of these amazing "luggage carts". I use quotes around luggage carts because it's much more than that. I indeed travel with one that easily fits into my average-sized backpack once I've used it to easily pull all my bags through the airport. Once I arrive at my gate, I fold this baby up and slide it into my carry-on backpack with plenty of space left for any other things I'm taking onboard with me. This is not only convenient, but also protects the cart from being bent or destroyed while buried somewhere beneath all the other luggage in the belly of the plane. It's not a matter of durability, as I've had high-quality sturdy luggage damaged from being tossed around at the airport.I recently purchased a second cart for a completely different reason. I have a really nice tool bag that has pockets and slots for almost all the tools I need when I'm helping out a friend or family member with an electrical or network project. The awesome part is that the bag has a place for all my tools in a single bag. The not-so-awesome part is that IT IS HEAVY. It's not so heavy I can't lift it into my SUV, but far too heavy to just carry around the jobsite every time I move to a different area.So I decided to look into those modular toolboxes that you stack together and pull with a rolling mechanism.. very.. similar.. to this cart. Hmmmm.. The issue I have is that most of the modular systems are nothing more than a plastic box to throw your tools in. They do not include much (if any) organization outside perhaps a few containers and/or dividers. Beyond that... I really like my current bag (minus the weight and mobility of it). Then it dawned on me. Why not just get a second Samsonite cart like the one I travel with and strap my tool bag to it?Well, I'm happy to report it works like a charm. I placed my tool bag on the cart platform and ran the included bungy cords through my bag handles and clipped onto the cart handle. This keeps the bag securely strapped to the cart but also allows me to pick up the bag and cart together using the bag handles. Now I can lift the bag and cart together into my SUV and when I get to my destination, simply lift the bag and cart out of the vehicle and onto the driveway. Extend the cart handle and I'm off. Easily pulling my tool bag up the driveway and into the house.The only thing I've noticed in the airport is if you are walking a little faster than usual with several bags strapped to the cart, it may start to sway a little bit like a boat trailer behind a truck you see swaying on the highway. Perhaps it's because I have it overloaded a bit or a little off center of gravity, but I have noticed it. Not a big deal though. Just slow down for a second and it will stabilize. Leaving home a few minutes earlier than you planned to head to the airport is another way to avoid speed walking through the airport, but that's none of my business.Full disclaimer: I typically fly a couple times a year and do not use this cart as a commercial grade contractor. I cannot say how well this cart would hold up for someone who travels for a living or is a full time contractor. The wheels on this cart seem fine to me, but if you're a commercial contractor who plans to drag your tool bag/box across dirt and gravel and pull it up and down steps all day, I cannot say how durable this cart would be for you. If you're like me and love to travel but can't go as often as you'd like, this cart is a back-saver and travels great. If you have an awesome but heavy tool bag/box that you take to your friend's or parent's house when helping them with a project, this cart is the answer. However, if you are in airports more than you're home or do commercial grade contracting for a living, you may want to consider something a bit sturdier. At this price point though, it may be worth your time and money to give it a try before you spend hundreds of dollars on some modular toolbox with larger wheels you may or may not even need. If you are a frequent traveler (like I hope to be when I retire), you likely already have a roller bag and wouldn't need this cart anyway.Whatever you decide, safe travels.It's 5:00 somewhere...

I'd originally bought another brand of wheeled luggage cart recently, but returned it because I was unhappy with its hard slick plastic wheels that didn't roll well. This Samsonite version works much better. Its in-line wheels have a bit of a rubbery feel that grips the floor better and allows the wheels to roll smoothly rather than just sled-skidding along like my first purchase. We mostly just use it for transporting carry-on bags and sports duffels since our large luggage pieces all have their own swivel wheels.This cart folds up easily and compactly so it won't take up too much space when stored inside your luggage or carry-on bag. Fully folded, it's about 15" long x 10.5" wide x 3" thick at its thickest point (the wheel section). However, with its telescoping section fully extended, the handle is 37.5 inches from the floor when upright (but obviously less when tilted for pulling). The resting platform for luggage, crates, or boxes is only about 10.5" wide and 9" deep (platform is deeper but lower section of handles reduces the usable space to 9 inches).Two sturdy bungee cords are attached at each front corner of the platform. The hooks on the opposite ends can be attached at either of the two horizontal bars or even up at the handle (although I would worry about them slipping there). Additional bungee cords (not provided) could be used if further securing is necessary.While the loading platform is fairly small (10.5" x 9"), the bungee cords allow you to transport crates or boxes that extend well beyond that size. I use it regularly to transport oil painting supplies to and from off-site painting sessions and workshops. I bungee a 21" x 15" plastic bin to the platform and can get several canvases, solvents, paints, etc organized and transported easily. With larger loads, you just have to be careful to keep the load strapped in and well balanced. Also, this wheeled cart is not to be confused with a furniture/appliance dolly which can carry heavy loads.

This tiny hand truck is quite sturdy. I used it to lug a 34 pound case around airports and a convention center, hotels and trains ... for a solid week without any issues. I am happy I spent a couple more dollars on this unit. It exceeded expectations. I love it.
