Body-Solid Rubber Coated Hex Dumbbells 3-100 lbs.

Excellent dumbbell. Grips is perfect for my hands (glove size mens large for comparision.) My wife has no problems using them and her hands are smaller. The rubber is high quality, not greasy or overly slick. (Note: I really like rubber coated dumbbells, since you don't get paint or rust particles in your face/eyes when you accidently hit them together when doing declined/flat bench routines...) The only reason these did not get 5 stars is that they were each about a quarter pound light (weighed in at 7.75 lb). Not really noticeable, but I expected a bit better from the Body Solid brand (but I suspect these are all made by the same vendor and then branded). Also, the weight markings on these are very small and hard to read. (I have found that if you take a white paint marker, you can easily highlight the number. It makes it much easier to quickly ID your weights.) Overall, nice DBs.

Work great. I cleaned mine before using(germs and all)....would suggest one to do the same or else you’ll have black all over your hands.

Was told these would have the weight imprinted on both sides like the old body solid dumbbells. These have the weight on one end and "body solid tools" imprinted on the other. Not a big deal but I was trying to match what I already have. That's my only reason for 3 stars. Otherwise, I would have gave them 5 because of the quality.

These dumbbells are great. Very quality products with a comfortable grip. I now have sets of the 10, 15, and 20# weights, and will certainly be buying more from Body Solid.No clue why so many people feel the need to comment that the dumbbells smells. Yes, its rubber coated... and it smells like rubber. The smell dissipates the day after unboxing, and has nothing to do with the quality of the product. 5 stars.

So far these are nice dumbbells. Yes, they do smell awful at first - but I wiped them off and they're fine. These are much nicer than the ones I was going to buy at Modells or Sports Authority. The weight numbers are embossed on both sides - but they are much smaller numbers than the competitors'. These chrome handles are the most comfortable that I have tried (glad I didn't buy the PVC handled units). Best deal with Amazon Prime (no shipping). The 35 lb units that I also bought were not packaged as well and sustained impact damage to the rubber shell.

Perfect except the price is a tad high. The rubber after a fashion does not small but it give one the feelingof safety with its awesome construction and rubber ends.

These dumbbells arrived on time and the manufacturing quality matches the photos. The edging on the insides of around the dumbbell handles is also clean. I definitely recommend these if you're looking to add a pair to your home gym.

Expensive but the quality is obviously much nicer than the CAP 55s I bought prior. The rubber smell like most things is there at first but dissipates within a few weeks in a well ventilated space. I find the handles to be great and will definitely but this brand again.
