Nandi All-Natural South African Tendon Chews Dog Treats, 3.5 oz - Single Ingredient, Grain Free, Sustainably Sourced, Nutrient Rich (Nguni Beef Pizzle, 3.5 oz)

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to turkey tendons. My dog loves them no doubt, however the tendons are very small, some measure just 2 to 3 inches in length. This means that they can easily become a choking hazard, especially if your dog is over 40 pounds. My dog is about 50 pounds, and I watch her while she eats these to make sure she doesn’t choke. She does love them! But they are gone pretty quickly and as I mentioned they’re quite small. These might be a great treat for smaller dogs under 20 or 30 pounds. I would still buy again though

I bought the ostrich tendon treats, and my dog loves it! But I have to say it does smell too smoky for my liking (probably doesn't matter too much). Size and thickness are all varialbe too. Most were 2-3 inches long although some were really thick and some were thin.

They're a bit pricey, but my dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They were able to chew on them longer than turkey tendons and they really like the smokey flavor. They instantly wag their tails and beg when the bag is opened!

The only bad thing to say is that, they shred while being chewed.Good thing to say is, she can't stop shredding them. She loves them.

Dog loves these! They are varying shapes and sizes with some sharp-ish points. Some pieces were very thin. Although easily digestible, you should still watch your dog with chews like this.

A nice chew treat for my allergy ridden dog. While they were small my pup loved them.

Our puppy, Tori loves these treats. She’s still only about 10lbs so they keep her busy for hours. Flavor is great and no issues with her tummy the next day. We’re huge Nandi fans, can’t wait to try more varieties

I had thought that because these were called chews they would be quite long. Sadly the bag is full of small pieces which my lurcher can swallow whole, so they don't fulfil the chewing aspect and I actually have safety concerns because they are sharp and would get stuck in his throat. I can tell it's a good quality product and I like the ethics, and for small dogs I'm sure these would be substantial chews, but for anything above a small dog I don't think they're at all appropriate. Disappointed as they're expensive so I wish the description had been more thorough so I knew they were all small pieces of dried meat and not chews.

Tried these on my dogs, I will try most things natural that can last. When I opened the packet the smell that came out it sorry but no way these are just natural beef tendons. They seriously smell like seasoned beef, like a well seasoned jerky or pre barbecue marinated meat, you can smell spices on these no way these haven’t been seasoned! If this is simply natural air dried beef then I am the queens granddaughter! I have asked the company for an explanation but they have a very vague reply of possibly a bad batch or maybe my sense of smell. Not very good. I sent back, no way was I risking my dogs to eating what honestly smells like seasoned meat you have to be so careful with seasoning they can be very toxic to dogs. I won’t risk this brand again they have a good write up but the meat is very questionable:(

Every time I need to hold one side otherwise my frenchie will swallow it. Even doing like this, it is smallest than my expected. For each one, my frenchie can finish it within 10 mins.

It's great quality but inconsistent sizing. There are 1/3 of short, stumpy thumb size chunks ( which I think are too dangerous as dogs will try to swallow whole), 1/3 bigger tendons, and 1/3 thinner tendons. Seems more like a combo bag. Would prefer if the company can sort and sell them by size! Otherwise great quality
