Hollywood NutcrackersKurt Adler Hollywood King Nutcracker, 18-Inch, Turquoise

I ordered three of the gold nutcrackers. Two were from Amazon and one was from another seller.The two from Amazon came with what appear to be counterfeit silver/grey capes. One was also defective, and one was in good condition.The third nutcracker (from another seller) appeared to be genuine, but it was broken and the front beard was detached...Attached are pictures of the Amazon vs other side by side. The silver/grey capes are very thin and cheap feeling and don't look like item listing at all. At first I thought it was my monitor until I received the one with the thick, gold cape that looks exactly like the item listing picture.I'm a little confused by this all. Thankfully Amazon always has top notch customer service.

Unless you want a lopsided nutcracker who can’t hold his gifts straight I highly do not recommend buying or purchasing this nutcracker, this holiday season. My nutcracker came in with the beads and chems falling off the poorly hot glued structure as well as the wooden stand not even holding it up straight the king is lopsided and his gift is tilting as if it is about to fall out of his hands please do not support this China based and Chinese made horrible cheap quality nutcrackers

I hardly ever leave product reviews, but I decided to for this since the condition is so ridiculous. This nutcracker arrived broken in two places- the gold platform he stands on, and the jewels around one of his legs. I feel confident the jewels can be glued back into place, but the gold platform will have to be painted, and even still you'll be able to see the damage. This is totally unacceptable for something purchased as new to arrive in this condition. Several of the other reviews state their arrived broken too. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the reviews before I purchased. Lesson learned.

I would have loved to give this 5 stars because I have been watching the price and waiting to buy it for months and months now. The cape is off center were it is glued under the neck. It's too far to the side on one side making it look off center. I think I can find a way to hide that when I display it but still disappointing.

All of this product looks amazing but the mustache was broken on the one side and I needed to glue back on and their is also what looks like a fracture in the crown that the nutcracker is wearing right front and center. The model itself is large and warm, a little disappointed about the damage

The turquoise just pops! He’s killer with his gray feather hair. Some imperfections on this one like a foot turned in and some glue visibility but overall gorgeous. He’ll be center stage next year in our collection.

I have ordered endless Kurt Adler nutcrackers off Amazon and they always come in amazing condition except this one had some flaws. The cape had a fairly large tear in the seam but fortunately I was able to fix it up just fine. The glitter on the pillow was slightly warn in a couple spots and the gold box was slightly off center. These are gorgeous nutcrackers but for the price you pay, I expect them to be checked before being mailed.

I have a full set of these nutcrackers. My gold king broke and I was looking to replace it. These are NOT the original. They are cheaply made and mass produced. I have really liked Kurt Adler nutcrackers, but I will not be buying any more as I think they moveD away from a quality product.

This is a lovely addition to my collection.I can only hope that at some point the two other wise men are available.

Well made beautifully decorated is now joining the family of over 800 Nutcrackers in my mother's collections. Kurt Alder is an amazing artist.
