This is a poetry i read decades ago, in my twenties. I loved it then and now. The Japanese are deceptively simple in their writing style, with such rich depths flowing beneath that fluid surface.

One Hundred Poems, the predecessor, is excellent. There's a reason these didn't make the first cut...
