The Rat King, the Rat Queen, the Leprechaun, and Samael Claus.The Rat King and the Rat Queen add a new dimension to Ascension - when the Rat King or Queen appears, rats cover the cards in the center row, and those rats must be defeated if you want to try to claim the card underneath. The Leprechaun adds pots of gold to acquire, and Samael Claus adds a Christmas spirit to your games. I have all the expansion, and I speak from experience when I say that although I love these new card packets, they should probably only be used if you are using at least one other expansion to Ascension in addition to the basic game. If you have a couple Ascension supplements, then I'd say get this!

Look, these are fun, but probably used better in small games.However, these are items a completionist is probably going to buy and they'll want to use a heavily stocked game where these cards don't show up as much.Very interesting cards and addition to the gameplay when they show up though.

Add a little spice to your Ascension game. These packs give a nice addition to any Ascension game with a new concept. For example, when the King Rat enters the center row, all the rats come out, covering every other card. The rats have to be defeated first, before the card underneath can be fought or acquired. Each pack only has a few cards each, so we add more than one per game so that there's an increased chance of actually drawing one in the course of the game.

This is a must have set for any Ascension fan. MUST BUY!!

What you are buying is 4 booster packs. From the picture I was led to believe it was a box full of booster packs.
