The Quest (Psionic Pentalogy Book 4) Kindle Edition

Although this book is part of a series not one of the books so far has followed a pattern or became predictable. The action starts almost at page one in this book and hardly slows down. I got the feeling this book is building up to something big in book five and I really can't wait to find out what happens next ... but then I will have no more of this series to read. As always the quality of writing is excellent and each character - even the minor characters - all really come alive in this one.

The series continues losing none of its emotional power. You will not be disappointed, I don't like reviews that give the story line, by writing from the main characters viewpoint in the way this author does is excellent.

I really enjoyed all of these books. They are an easy read with lots to think about and an interesting take on superpowers! I really enjoyed the style of these books and his writing!

AS GOOD AS THE FIRST BOOK....THE STORY CONTINUES WITHOUT GETTING BORING

Amazing series. Highly recommend. A modern day saga that shows war isn't made up of good guys and bad guys and ideologies conflict and no one is safe or innocent from the fall out of war. I love that these characters grow and falter at the same time. Howell creates a world that exists within our own and yet is hidden. The realistic fantasy world Howell creates doesn't contradict itself and at times I forget that these characters he creates are fantasy. Excellent series and deserves to be showcased globally.

It may have being directed to the teens but Im well pass that and loved all 5 books.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series. The Quest: PSIONIC Book Four (Psionic Pentalogy 4) by Adrian Howell is definitely worth the time to read and got me hooked. I enjoyed every page of this book and the previous three. Adrian Howell, the main character, is a totally believable character who finds he has powerful telekinetic abilities. Being a teenager, he does things a teenager would do, but he is forced to grow up fast. The community he goes to live with is involved in a war with other psionic factions, the God slayers, and the Wolves, the military group out to capture and study them. The war heats up and the violence escalates. Adrian is constantly thrown into situations and moral dilemmas no teenager should have to face. I was as reluctant to put this book down as I was with the first three volumes. I can't wait to finish the series. A very well told story clearly taking up where the first three books left off. A well written series, I highly recommend to everyone.

This book is party of a set of 5 books To fully appreciate the book you need to read read them all, but that will be no chore, as this is one of the tightest series of books I have read in a long time.The plot is compelling and pulls you eagerly through all 5 books. The characters are well developed, if somewhat quirky because of the nature of the story and its sci-fi aspects. The story moves very smoothly and seamlessly through a variety of fascinating twists and turns.Truly I do not know when I have enjoyed a series of books more. It is not as complex as something epic like Lord of the Rings, but it definitely hits the high ground for the genre. I most definitely can recommend this series and this book.

I guessed who the new Angel controller was. Surprise!There is never a slow chapter. Adrian glosses over the months where little happens. I'm indignant that he chose to leave school, and I wish he would practive his telekinesis more.There's quite a bit of death, and I'm not sure if the "good" guys are much better than the bad guys, now. They're all killing each other and hunting each other. Yet, I wholeheartedly root for Adrian and his sister.

Awesome. This is not my normal genre but I can't seem to put it down. I really like the main characters, and those I don't seem to meet a short end. I find myself disagreeing with Adrian and Terry or even sweet Alia. They have all experienced far more in these short years and yet they keep going.I have a feeling this next book in the series may be the most difficult part of Adrian's journey. I can't wait to find out!

This is a continuation of the first three books. You HAVE to read the others first or you will be lost. This series of 5 books is one of the best stories I have ever read. It is fiction, but I was caught up in the thoughts of "this could be real" so much of the time. The author was really smart releasing all 5 books at one time, because once I started reading, I couldn't put it down and had to have the next book immediately. That is how good this was. I read all 5 books in less than a week!

When I begin reading this pentalogy wasn't sure how I'd feel about it however, after the 1st chapter I was hooked, the characters were believable and sucked me in immediately. If you enjoy paranormal reads with lots of intrique and suspense these will do it for you. Thank you Author, Adrian Howell for making all books available before releasing, I detest waiting weeks or months before going on and was thrilled the others were available. Personally, I went from book to book without stopping often at 2 or 3 in the morning. Interesting.............

I have enjoyed every book of this series and am now reading the fifth book. I will certainly be sorry to.see them end, as I have gotten to really like the characters. You've got to start with the first book though or I would not think you would get the full understanding from them.

The author does an excellent job of storytelling.I like how everything is believable: the characters, their reactions, their choices, the dialogue, the settings, etc.Everything about the series is top-notch!(Sorry my review is lousy. Maybe I'll fix it at a later date.)

I started this series simply because I ran out of reading material, and the first book was on bookbub for free. I was hooked after the third chapter, and am now on the last book in the series............and feeling sad that it is the LAST ONE LOL! Great stuff..........never would have picked it out for myself,,,,,,,,,I am most definitely a fan!

This is a sequal to 4 or 5 other books and I got to tell you this is one series of books that will stay on your mind for a long time as you watch innocent young kids life become one tragic situation after another all the way to adult hood. The series is just amazaing. Really should read it.

While the plot was somewhat predictable, the story was still hard to put down. I am looking forward to book 5.

Now that I just finished this book I am in a state of.....information overload. It was an adventure for sure! But, the information is deeply surprising yet disturbing. I gotta get the next to find out what happens next.....bye for now, see you after I finish book five. Wow.

This book was probably the "slowest" of all of them- which is a completely silly statement, because they're all amazing and action packed! Rather, I think it was "slowest" for me because I took my time reading it!I really hope Adrian writes more in this universe!
