We got this play telescope to mount on the railing of our kids tree fort and it was easy to mount, came with everything you need to mount. It looks nice and it is easy for the kids to use. We will be getting another to mount in a different spot so they have two.

These are cute but have no lens. There is no magnification. Basically, it is a plastic tube in the shape of a telescope.

I bought this for my nephew for his tree fort. He loves it. While it doesn't really "do" anything, it helps him to use his imagination, to role play, and to explore ideas. Time outside in nature away from screens is a must nowadays. He loves his fort and this is a great accessory. It's also very well made, and I expect it will last for awhile.

It looks like a telescope, but it does not function like a true telescope. My grandson uses it as a sword.

My grandchildren had a great time playing lookout.
