Save your knees, get these (rhyme intentional)
Not as good as the ones they replaced, but less expensive and work pretty well. I am damn near an expert on knee pads and use them for just about everything including roof work, decking, floors and even caving. Used them today for painting exterior stucco all the way down to the ground.Kneepads work on hard ground, concrete, dirt and mud as well as inside on flooring. I am 80 years old and like to treat my knees well.

These Save Knees
The pads stay in place fairly well. They are thick and comfortable and will save the knees.

Comfortable but questionable quality
These are easy to use and comfortable, but began to unthread after the first use. After the fourth use, I had to sew the plastic cap back onto one of the knee pads.

I would give 10 stars if I could!
I was putting down a new floor in a basement room, so I purchased the self stick tiles. Then I remembered that the last time I did a floor like this, my knees were 30 years younger. I knew that crawling around on my knees on a concrete floor would be a huge problem, when a friend with bad knees recommended these particular knee pads. I was pleasantly surprised at the price (similar ones in the store were twice the price) and I ordered them. They came in one day and I started on the floor. I am 69 years old and I was so thrilled to realize that I got the floor done with no knee discomfort whatsoever!! They are miraculous! I literally cannot get down on my knees to play with my grandchildren for even a few minutes, and yet I put a whole floor down thanks to these knee pads. Amazing!

Absolutely useless
I don't know how multiple reviewers gave these 3 or more stars but stated they don't stay in place. That is a massive understatement. I work multiple different construction jobs from laying concrete and tile to pulling cable in tight space and framing. I have an old pair of very good knee protectors that work well with gel fill but they are hard plastic and although they are great for laying flooring or kneeling on concrete to lay tile I have a massive job attaching long rails and putting up tens of solar panels on an SM rib metal roof which is very slippery so I needed kneepads that grip the surface. These looked great, they don't slip on anything I tried them on including the metal roof and the gel is pretty comfortable but that is where any form of useability goes out the window. If I just lean slight pressure sideways to get a drill or tool they shoot round your leg to the same side you are leaning to. In fact apart from kneeling perfectly still it is virtaully impossible to get them to stay on your knees even if you tighten the single velcro strap until it virtually cuts off the circulation to your legs. I tried them on bare legs with shorts, with jeans and with polyester work pants to no avail they are simply totally useless as knee protection as they don't stay on your knees unless you don't move. I simply can't be reaching down pulling them round from the side every 1-2 minutes - no knee protection is painful and downright dangerous on a polished metal roof. I am returning these and I would strongly not recommend anyone purchase these. My old ones have a fixed clip on strap and a second elastic strap and they stay on great, so I am going to look for something like that but with a soft grip face. Don't waste your money on these and for the record I have submitted tens if not hundreds of product reviews and this is only the 4th product I have ever given a 1 star review. I live in the middle of nowhere and use Amazon and other delivery option vendors for most stuff and rely on other customer reviews to make my choices and these I regret are 1 star products.

Worth it
Just got them today, seem sturdy durable. I electrician so i will use often. Cant speak on their longevity yet but by far the most comfortable pair ive had. I prefer the one strap because i have larger thighs. These are at the end of the strap but you can buy strap extenders, i will mke my own. Im 250 lbs and they feel like im kneeling on a cloud. Very imprrssed so far.Edit, have been using them for 2 weeks and im very happy.
