My 15 year old who plays a few instruments found this to be fun. The annoyance to people listening to him learn it he says is worth its weight! We wish it had a plug for headphones.

Annoying little thing but it's cool. Bought it for my daughter and she loves that thing. It's cute face just makes you forget how anoying it is until she plays it super loud. It does have good control of volume and depending on the pitch i'll sound pretty funny.

We got this for our son's birthday. He's a music major and this is a fun way to make musical sounds & test bars of music. He really likes it.

My son absolutely loves this. If you don't adjust the sound, it can be pretty loud. The Otamatone is rather small - perfect for a child or person with petite fingers. Otherwise, the toy will not register your touch to the musical pad and will not make a sound.Note - The toy comes with written instructions but they are in Japanese. So unless you can read Japanese characters, just look at the diagrams or search for how-to videos from Otamatone fans online.

Bought this for my grandson and he loves it! Although he did stop using it but still plays with it from time to time. Just be prepared to buy a whole ton of AAA batteries.

Was decent at first but buttons weren’t as easy to press as they should be. Then the product keeps not working and then the loud function wouldn’t work, nothing but problems since the start.

Es divertido y entretenido. Puede uno volverse adicto a jugar con el. Le pongo cuatro estrellas porque al final es un juguete.

Fue un regalo para mi nieto y le encantó. Todo bien.

めちゃめちゃ気に入ってます！デザイン、クオリティー、全て最高点をつけたい！僕にとってはMidの音で「あ～！」って適当に出すだけでも、ゲラゲラ笑っちゃうくらい可愛い過ぎて笑っちゃいます！シンプルかつ、何とも言えない表情。最高です(笑)全体デザインバランスも音符(♪)になっていてしっかり立つし、置物としても可愛い。楽器としても自然と耳で音をとるタイプなので、初心者でも自然と音楽能力が少しは上がりそう。フレットもないのでスライドもしやすく、パクパクビブラートもきく、色々な可能性が高くて凄く楽しいです。僕はBABYMETALにハマリ、すると自然にさくら学院も好きになり、さくら学院の動画の中の一部で明和電気のオタマトーンを知った時、凄く魅力的でずっと欲しかった。その時観た初期のタイプのオタマトーンが。オタマトーンには色々な色、サイズがありますが、白のオタマトーンが凄く魅力的で実際買って手にとっても実物もホント超魅力的！値段も良心的で全てが最高です！ホント良い買い物をした気持ちです！日本おもちゃ大賞獲得も超納得。まだ買ったばかりですが、すでに黒タイプも欲しいです(笑)たぶん色々沢山買っちゃいそうです。この商品の遊び心、最高です！

音楽初心者です。オタマトーンにはいくつも種類があるのですが、その中で一番安いこのモデルを購入しました。いきなり高額商品を買って、飽きたら悲しいからです。使ってみて思ったのは、意外と難しいな、という事です。指で黒い縦長パネルを抑えると音が出る仕組みなのですが、パネル部分が凹んでいて、指を横に寝かせてしまうとパネルが押しにくくなってしまうのです。指が太い男性は、もう少し大きなオタマトーンが良いのでは、と思いました。また、裏面に音量ボタンと音程ボタンがついているのですが、Low（低音）とMid（中音）とHi（高音）の音の切り替えは演奏中に切り替えるのは難しいと思います。普通に触ってオワオワ鳴らしているぶんにはこれで十分なので、今のところ満足しています。

個人的に、音は中世ヨーロッパからバロック音楽に使われそうな、合いそうな音色だなと。また、顔がとても好みでした。可愛い。
