Finally, a knife sharpener that I can make "work"! Easy, easy to pull the blade through while holding the sharpener in place with left hand on the handle. My husband is left handed and can use it too. I didn't read that it was for scissors, but it sharpened my favorite pair right away!!!!! We must have five other knife sharpeners, including a longer rod, but this is the first I have been able to utilize. I happen to like red items for my kitchen, so the color is also a plus. The included free knife is bright and will come in handy with its sheath for traveling.This knife sharpener was received at a free or discounted rate. I am extremely pleased with it.

After reading reviews from experts that said you had to get a $149 electric sharpener to get you knives sharp, I was hesitant to buy the manual kind. But I was not disappointed. This knife sharpener worked quite well on my chef's knives and paring knife I previously purchased from Amazon. I am not quite sure if this sharpens serrated knives though. I need to get more info from the manufacturer. The "free" knife that is included is like a cross between a very small chef's knife & a pairing knife.

What a great little surprise in a small package. Received my knife sharpener and put it to the test. I first tested it out on the free knife that came with the package. It worked great so I started sharpening all my knives. My husband usually sharpens my knives because his kit is a lot harder to use. I am so excited to be able to have a sharp knife anytime I want. It fits very comfortable in your hand and can be used for right or left hand users. If you are looking for a great knife sharpener look no farther this is a must have for any kitchen.

I really like this sharpener as I used to be a chef and I have come across na lot of different sharpeners both professional grade and at home sharpeners and this one works really well. It has three different levels of sharpening and when you use the last one your knife is as sharp as when you first bought it. I would recommend this sharpener to others as I would but it again myself.

This sharpener is comfortable in the hand and easy to use... it does its job and does it well.After just a few passes through the center 'course' section, followed by a few through the 'fine' slot, and my 8' chef knife blade is back to being nice and sharp. It literally took just seconds. (I don't have a ceramic knife so am unable to comment on its effectiveness.The non-slip material on the flat, bottom-side does a good job (combined with the finger marks on the underside of the handle) of keeping it stable and steady.SolutionSmart provided a complimentary sharpener for review purposes.

So far very nice! I borrowed a ceramic knife from a friend and fell in love with it. I bought this item for sharpening. The knife that came with it wasn't a ceramic knife but the sharpener is for all knives. I have had heck finding a knife or easy sharpener since I wore my late mothers had me down. These seem to do exactly as I had hoped. Although be careful I gouged one of my ceramic knives because I didn't read the instructions first. " that is one of my bad habits" so my fault .

Good sharpener I think all of the sharpener that are this type only sharpen several knives then the stone become dirty and there no way to clean it of but to get replacement. So I am gonna try the electric one to see how it work and for how long.

I love the durability, the color and the flexibility of use between the ceramic and steel. It's class act. I really appreciated the personal email contact from the seller in case I needed any extra advice or if something went wrong I could contact them personally. Great business practice
