I mistakenly ordered two four packs of these "Green Sun blasters!" I have spent two hours returning them with Amazon Customer Service--because they were two separate orders and from two different shippers! I have ordered the four packs of the "White Light Sun blaster's," in the past, on three occasions.. When I finally cut through the ballistic strength plastic on this first four-pack to arrive, I screwed one in my desk-top computer lamp. I was horrified to witness the green cast to the bulb! I promptly called Amazon, as mentioned. I thought "Green," was referring to for "Green plants!" Boy, was I wrong!!! The WHITE spectrum Sun-blasters are much better for reading under (I use them in my den and office.) These" Halloween Green" may work perfectly well for plants (I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt!) If you see a GREEN DOT next to the picture of the bulbs--KNOW that they give off a GREEN HUE!!! End of story!

Definitely not suitable for use as a plant grow light!
The product description for the Future Harvest Development Sun Blaster Green CFL 6400K Lamp, 13-watt, 4-Pack Future Harvest Development Sun Blaster Green CFL 6400K Lamp, 13-watt, 4-Pack missed the mark on two points. First, the declaration that: These bulbs are excellent for indoor growing applications, where the natural light of the sun is not available, would imply that these bulbs are suitable for use as grow lights. This is countered by the package label which clearly states that the bulbs are suitable for room illumination during a plants resting phase (i.e. night time). The second incorrect product description states that the bulbs are: Full spectrum compact fluorescent bulbs measure 6400 Kelvin, provide natural color comparable to sunlight. As shown in the attached photo, these bulbs are a very pronounced green color, anything but comparable to sunlight or the red/blue spectrum best for plant growth.In retrospect, I regret not having read Dana Zajac's February 14, 2015 review of this product.

Awesome lightbulbs for indoor plants
Using these in two different places to help indoor plants. One spot is in a lamp with plants arranged around below it and it works very good. You can tell that the plants are healthier since we've started using it. Our banana tree is really liking the extra light. The other spot is in a spare bedroom in a ceiling fixture where I've started veggies for my garden. Plants that were pointed towards the window before turning on the light were soon pointed upwards instead.

When they say Green, they mean it. My plants love it and are growing nicely. It seconds as a Veteran support green light too.

These are only for room lighting not for plants, description is wrong for this item and I promptly returned them.

Get these. They work!
I've tried four different CFL grow lights so far, and these have proven to be the very best of them all. They are the best light if you want healthy plants that grow very quickly. They can scorch the leaves if the plants grow faster than you expected and they get too close to the lights.
