My Gardening Journal (Quiet Fox Designs) Organize Your Gardening Life: Set Annual Goals, Chart Garden Design, Keep a Record of Your Work, Track Crop Performance, and Note What You Learn Each Season

This is a great starting journal for a newbie like myself. There are a lot of prompts and information, it's beautifully designed, and there are quite a lot of pages to fill out for tracking your plants' processes. It contains: a color coded map of temperature zones (to let you know which one you're in and inform your plant hardiness), a goals page, a page to track where you have full sun/partial sun/shade in your garden, a pests tracking page, and three years of plant history tracking, among other things.The only drawback is that there are only three pages for the garden layout, one for each year. I have three areas of gardening around my house that I want to track what I'm putting and where, and what I want to remove and replace with other plants in the future. I'm not sure there are enough dotted pages for what I want to do, but I'll try to be creative.Otherwise, this is a great book, just the right size, and easy to lay flat.

I looked through several journals before deciding on this one, and even then, I wasn't sure I had made the right decision ... until I opened the cover and started flipping through the pages.This book is a gem! Over the years I have moved existing plants here and there, but designing a garden from scratch was something outside my scope of experience. I wanted a book that would give me room to note my progress, but that also afforded me some guidance. This journal offers just the right amount of information, while leaving me plenty of room to design, explore, and record my journey. I am SO happy with it.

I was truly looking for a gardening journal that includes a spot for the garden layout and notes to remember for the following year--- as well as some gardening tidbits to help me out.This journal had essentially 6 pages for this content (3 gardening seasons), and the majority of the book was to track certain plants over multiple years. This is not information and tracking that I find useful.I'll be using a regular notebook for this from now on--- wish I wouldn't have wasted my money.

This journal is poorly designed. You can’t make up for functionality with cutsie clip art. There are pages upon pages where you’re supposed to log about each freaking plant - who does that?!? As a gardener I could appreciate pests and diseases log; but I have no interest in logging about individual plants forever . There are just too many pages with this, maybe a few would work if you had planted something that you were concerned about and wanted to keep a close eye on on it. Waste of money.

A good complete method to track you garden work and habits, seeding times, harvest time. Good ability to track success and failures.

I wish that this had more “notes” section. I could take notes almost daily once garden season is in swing of what is going good/bad etc. just need a few more pages in here.

It's a really nice book but I found it didn't have them into I wanted on the individual plants section and there was barely any space to write anything. The soil info I wanted was in a"growing season" section but my plants are in pots so each is different. If I didn't write this page in it already I'd have returned it.

This has a place for all the info I want to file. So glad I bought this book!

This book is going to be useful but found that there were a lot of duplicate pages which took up a good portion of the book.

Got it as a gift for a friend that is passionate about gardening and she really enjoyed it, as far as I know, she still uses it!

This is a handy garden journal
