Day after arrived (took just 2 days) I went for a cross country run (which was rather wet) and the shorts were very comfy. Elastic waist a good fit. Tie string gave extra security of them not slipping down which is important on this kind of run. Pockets deep.

I ordered two sizes (38 & 40). The 40 was far too big with the waist band around my armpits and the legs over my knees; these were returned with no problem. The 38 fit well and are comfortable to wear. I like the short leg, reaching mid thigh; a much better look for those of us who are not six foot tall.

You get what you pay for.

Good quality product and fits around the waist but sadly the rest of the shorts are huge! Think 1960's footballer! My husband (who is not petite!) pulled the waistband up to his armpits and the crutch of the shorts were still hanging too low. Had to return

Ordered L, waist was OK but legs were much too baggie. Otherwise well made.

I quite like these shorts. They are very loose fitting, but they should be ordered using normal waist size, otherwise they will be too tight at the waist.

For rugby shorts they are a bit baggy but good fabric and well made

Probably would have been OK but wrong size sent so had to spend time returning them. On-line Amazon frame appears to have been faulty; I've had several other occasions of wrong sizes supplied.
