I'm not sure why this is being referred to as "wood", even in the reviews. It is definitely particle board. If it gets a drop of water, it's going to swell. That said, it looks and works well. Just make sure that it stays indoors and dry.

It was difficult to get the string hung just right. The trick is to hang the ring first, put it on the hook, then hang the hook so that there is just a little slack to the string. Too much or not enough slack and it'll never catch the hook. Good luck! But so super fun and addictive. Every time I take the dog out back to do his business I play a few rounds lol. Love this thing.

It was pretty easy to install, and works great. Thought my kid was going to hate it and be bored when she first started playing with it, but quickly realized that this game feeds on one's obsession with accomplishing success. She stood there for an hour before she made it finally, then hasn't stopped since.I installed it for her birthday party and the kids were nuts for this thing. should have bought two of them.I will say that the little eyebolt keeps falling out of the ceiling because it is too small. Go buy a slightly bigger one for less than a buck at home depot and you are golden.

We played it every day at my daughters house in Texas while we were there over the holidays.i just needed to get one for home in Hawaii when they come to visit. It's on..one try!!!
