I love this straightener! I haven’t quite mastered how to curl my hair with it, but that’s operator error. The straightener heats up SO FAST! It cuts down on my time spent in front of a mirror. I also love that it comes with a silicone cover so that once I’ve finished using the wand and unplug it, i can cover it with the sleeve and not worry as much about my kids getting burned. (My kids are three and nine. The little one just knows it’s hot and not to touch. My oldest would attempt to use it if it weren’t locked closed and covered). Oh. Locks! It locks closed and that’s amazing. I don’t have to worry about things falling in between the plates or it being opened and damaging the counter tops. (We have ceramic countertops). It’s light weight and easy to use. I will say that for fine hair, it can be a little tricky to keep the hair from just slipping out. But if you’re an experienced user, it works perfectly. This is an amazing deal and I absolutely recommend it!

I truly don’t understand why this has good reviews. It honestly didn’t heat up enough to curl or straighten. I’m not exactly a natural when it comes to doing my hair... but I have straightened my hair for a long time and owned main heat tool. This is the worst! I though I’d try something different and liked the idea of being able to make soft curls/waves.1) when trying to curl it left my hair with awkward kinks at best.2) It didn’t straighten either. It didn’t even get hot enough.Going right back in the box to return. Wish I just got a new regular straightener instead.Update: I know why it has decent reviews now... company offered a free product to change my review. I declined.

When I first bought this, I wasn't sure if it was going to be easy to use because I've never seen a design like this. Turns out it's actually SUPER fast and convenient to curl with! I love the features, especially the temperature control. I'm not a fan of super bouncy curls and am able to get nice beach waves because of this. I didn't burn myself once or feel the need to use the temperature glove it comes with because it's designed for really easy use. The only thing is that I wish it had a bit of a better grip to straighten my hair. This is really only an issue for me because I have REALLY thin hair that is hard for most straighteners to grab. Regardless, this is definitely a winner as a curler for me! I'll for sure be replacing my old 1" curling iron for this on the days I want add some movement to my hair.

This definately takes practice, but for the price produces pretty good results.

I bought this as a gift for someone else for simplicity and ease of use. The person I bought it for is pretty low maintenance and doesn’t do a lot with their hair. So I thought this would be an easy, quick way to do something stylish with their hair with minimal effort. I tried it out and am a little disappointed. I really wanted to like this. The idea is great. However, my hair sounds and feels like it’s being snagged by the teeth on the edge. Not good if you have damaged hair such as the person I bought it for. It’s hard to get a grip on my hair because the plates twist. My hair is fine and I tried it without prepping with product first. I usually don’t put products in my hair prior to styling except for a heat serum. With this, the curls fell pretty quickly so I had to keep redoing them. Honestly, I can get a better curl and do more varieties of curls with my flat iron without having to use a ton of product in my hair and then spritz with spray at the end.

grabbed these straighteners on behalf of my niece. she’s just been fast tracked out of her university course and is now a travelling nurse! i set up a beauty hamper for her as i think it’s really admirable for someone so young to be giving it their all to help! the straighteners are great for her as they’re small enough for any travel bag- she keeps them in her handbag! perfect size for travelling

THIS IRON DOES NOT 'FLOAT' ON YOUR HAIR, IT SORT OF STICKS SO IS NOT PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. IT DOES NOT SMOOTH THE HAIR LIKE MY OTHER IRON SO IT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO WORK WITH. I WOULD NOT WASTE THE MONEY AGAIN.

I hadn't used one of these before, so I had a little trouble with it at first. After looking up a few YouTube videos, I figured out how to use it, and now I totally love it! I curl my hair way more often now, and it only takes about ten minutes. :)It heats up super quickly! And it makes nice big soft curls. Totally worth it, especially for the price!
