OMGolly these things are amazing!! I'm allergic to the world so I'm always sneezing, blowing my nose, dabbing my watery eyes with tissue and dealing with super itchy ears. All I can say is give these a try. If you're like me and you're on allergy medication 24/7 but still suffer from itchy ears, put down the q-tips and give these a try. I cannot begin to explain the sense of calm that came over me once I finally *got* the itching stopped. These changed my life. I no longer carry q-tips in my cars glove compartment, no more travel size box of q-tips in my purse, and I don't have a quart size ziplock bag of q-tips in my gym bag any more. I have had back-up boxes of 500 q-tips in bathrooms for at least 20 years and now I'm secure enough to have ONE box of q-tips in the house. These earscrubbers are awesome. From a very itchy person, I am telling you these things feel amazing and will calm the crazy itching. They're firm enough to clean your ear and flex enough so you can really get in there, if you know what I mean. Buy them. You will go from ear itch spaz to a calm collected person in no time. If this doesn't make sense, you probably don't need them. If you get it, you've got the itch and know you should try these.

I expected these to be soft, maybe like a foam rubber material. These are plastic, pliable but not soft. These did nothing but hurt my ears and since they're so stiff, I was wary of putting them in my ears again. I'll stick with a washcloth or swabs.

Plastic is rather hard and can be harsh on the skin in your ear.

I honestly wasn't expecting these to be as uncomfortable and even painful as they turned out to be. The plastic is much more rigid than I had anticipated. To give you an idea of what it feels like, have you ever used the plastic cap from a BIC pen, the extended clip part, to scratch the inside of your ear? That's EXACTLY what this feels like. Maybe if you're really gentle and your ear is really itchy, it may be okay. But if you're even slightly dehydrated, I'd be careful using these, if I were you, cause you could easily scratch open the inside of your ear.

Company needs to change or improve manufacture. About 15% of sticks were not cleanly popped out of mold--had plastic threads or were misshapen.

WOW ... these are great. Clean your ear groves and canal with ease. These have firm cloth ridges and a pointy end (go in easy, the point is in fact pointed and could be uncomfortable if you go to the ear drum, just take it in easy and you'll be ok) .... really does work .... and the instructions says clean after use, and reusable up to 10 times ... I bought 2 boxes and have only use 1 ear scrubber. I do plan to get more for the Long Term Disaster Planning cache. I want this product to succeed because something like this is long over due. Ouch! Not for my ears. These were a little too large for my small ears and a little too hard. They are made from a hard plastic.

didn't expect something this hard , I know its a double edged sword making them with more of an edge to scrape the inside of the ear but the fact that its all smooth doesn't seem to allow you to remove wax as easily. If I use a tissue over the end and then use this it seems to work better removing debris.
