Can i isolate myself from my mom screaming at me?

Depends how loud she is. Riley why are you being yelled at?. Earbuds are not going to solve this issue.I can say with great certainty that if you are wearing them when she screams chances are you are screaming back. Sound isolation is good but Moms are by far better.NOT A MOM FILTER.

Can I use it for the gym? is it water/sweat resistant? will it stay in my ears during the workout?

I use mine primarily under a helmet while riding one of my motorcycles and they stay in the ear prety well. Of course you have to insert them properly and have them seal in your ears. As for the sweat while working out. I guess that depends on how much you sweat in your ears. But I am sure they will take a moderate amount sweating.Hopes this helps.Rick G

If it has a 3.5mm headphone jack, yes, it will work.

I just recently lost one side of the earphones. I have the left side and the cord, is it possible for me to buy a replacement for the right side?

If it's covered by the warranty and you have the receipt, it can be replaced.Otherwise, you will have to pay for the replacement.But for the price... if it's >50% of the retail price, you may as well buy a newer set.When you send in the unit for repair, Shure will contact you. You can ask if you can just buy a newer set from them since the cost of the replacement won't be worth the cost.Shure may give you a discount on a newer model which may still be pricey but at least it's a discount.

Professional level in ear quality monitors.

As a monitors and Front of house engineer it’s imperative to have good quality sound directly in your ears.These give you that professional audio quality like a set of custom moulds would for a fraction of the price. Worth experimenting with the different cushions as everyone’s ears are different but with 6 different fits that come with it you’ll find one that fits nicely.

Cable lets these down

Once you mater the fit they are comfy. Sound is great. But the Cable isn’t long enough for anything if your in it down your back!

Tight & Tinny

They have a very tight and tinny signature that exerts a sort of pressure on my ears that feels as though I'm on a plane that is ascending. For the price, I was disappointed when I know I could have spent less for something better. The one good thing is that the audio is quite clear but not as clear as they should be. I own a pair of urBeats3 that sound better in every way that you can acquire for nearly half the price with cleaner audio and less distortion.If I had to recommend a different pair within the same price range of the SE215, I would likely go with Sennheiser's IE 40 Pro.
