Does it's job - please understand what it's job is!!
This is a great conversion cup. Before you buy it, though, it is important that you understand exactly what this cup is supposed to do, and what it is NOT supposed to do.NOT spill-proofNOT throw proofNOT unbreakableNOT for running around the houseNOT for the carThis cup is for older babies and toddlers who are converting to a regular adult cup. It is for use while seated at a table. If your toddler can drink from a cup, but spills around his mouth, this cup is great. If your toddler gets a bit wild with her arms at the table and accidentally knocks her cup over, this cup is great. If you find that ALL other small-sized cups have extremely narrow bases that tip easily, this cup is SUPER great (the jars are nearly the same size at the bottom as at the top). If your bigger kid just has a hard time holding onto a glass, or still wants a "special" cup of his own, this sleeve is great without using the top.It was not hard for my 3 year old or my 1.5 year old to figure out where the sip-slot was. I just showed them a couple of times. Of course, you have to explain (in super serious "becoming a big girl" voice) that this is a glass... Don't drop it!! Kids are smarter than we give them credit for. But, if we let them run around the house with it just like a plastic spill-proof sippy cup, of course they will spill and break it!Use your common sense, folks. Don't diss a perfectly good product, just because you didn't take time to train your children to be a big kid. Also, my 2 had no trouble leaking around the threads - so I can't comment on the leaking issue. Amazon should have no trouble replacing a defective product.

Product missing items
I love the product but when I ordered this green one I only received the cup cap. The sleeve was not there. The whole point in getting this product was the sleeve so that my 5 year old son could not break the mason jar as easily. I ordered the same product but in Orange and it was wrapped in plastic and had the Sleeve and Cup Cap they were in the same box and everything. Would have given 5 Stars other wise but they only offer refund on this so I have to print shipping labels and send it back. What a pain.

Never worked for us
I liked the idea of the sleeve and lid, but for some reason my daughter never got the hang of drinking out of it. The lack of spout confused her and by the time she was good with drinking from the lip of the cup, we didn't really need a special cup any more.

The product itself is fine - but my son refuses to use it.
The top screws onto Mason jars as promised. However, my three year old son refuses to use it. The product itself seems to do what it intends to do (convert a jar into a kids cup), but kids are picky and this won't work for every child.

Love This Product. TOO EXPENSIVE tho
this is a great product for training kids. IT IS NOT SPILL PROOF. i bought the cap and sleeve without the glass cup because the Ball Deluxe Quilted Jelly Canning Jar 8 Oz., Case of 12 is WAY cheaper to buy that than the ones offered with the cap and sleeve. I suggest you buy the ball quilted jelly canning 8oz jar over the one offered. the trick is, if your child spills or drops the cup youll notice is starts leaking from the thread. take the cover off, dry the glass thread and the plastic thread and it will stop leaking from there. I feel the product is WAY over priced, however it does seem to have a corner on the market.

great!
This is a great product. I purchased the glass jars separately and these caps screw right on. I use a straw with the cup or you could use it without the straw and use it like a sippy cup. I feel this is a healthier and safer way to give my kids their drinks. I've read too many things about the plastic cups and how they break down and can be harmful for anyone. So glass is better. and these caps are also bpa free. Perfect.

Easy to wash but kids shirt always gets wet
I like how easy it is to wash, and that you can use a glass canning jar. Son likes drinking from it but it seems to always get his shirt wet..

great idea
Great concept. Works with small mason jar well as advertised. Still can't get my 15 month old to drink from a cup but don't blame the product. Will keep trying.
