This new 60 track musically nostalgic and highly energised collection had us out of our seats and enjoying every number one by one. Yes, there’s plenty of well remembered pop numbers mixed with plenty of what I’d call lesser known numbers. The music comes from the period 1952 to 1962 when there were still many such groups demonstrating their skills. It’s a fascinating musical journey and the liner note by Glenn Matthews provides the background. The sound quality is very good throughout.
