I have super sensitive skin and always breakout when I use other face washes. This one never irritates my skin. It’s a really good makeup cleanser too. I wear matte makeup plus liner and mascara and it still takes it all off. It’s not meant to be scented but I like the way it smells because it’s clean. The consistency is very soft. Idk how to explain it but it feels like silk to the touch? Anyways, it leaves my skin feeling super clean and soft. I’ll never switch from this cleaner. Love it.

I was worried that this would make my acne prone skin break out, but it was actually so soothing that it reduced redness and my skin looked better. Now it's my favorite every day cleanser. I also often use it as a body wash. It is unscented, cleanses well, rinses clean and leaves skin lightly hydrated and comfortable, but not greasy at all. There is no foam or lather, but it's not necessary and I don't miss it. The pump is very convenient- no cap or lid to drop.

What a creamy, gentle, yet effective wash for your face and body! I love that it does not foam; and quite like a lotion. Of course it removes dirt, oil and makeup, while keeping skin soft and hydrated. Dermatologists helped to make it healthy for the skin; and comfortable for daily use. This cleanser is a staple in our house for its simplicity and effectiveness. It leaves your skin soft, clean, and moisturized. It is scentless and my personal dermatologist recommended it, and I’ve seen aestheticians and dermatologist recommended online as well. Overall, a great cleanser with good ingredients and a great value for the price.

I absolutely love this brand. It’s not only affordable, but also truly high quality. Last month I had to buy a different cleanser because the store where I usually shop ran out of CeraVe products, so I chose another one that was more expensive and very popular. I assumed that because of the price and reputation it would be good, but that wasn’t the case for me. It left my skin extremely dry and tight, and I honestly regret buying it. So I went back to this CeraVe cleanser, which is cheaper than that one, and it completely saved my skin from dryness and discomfort. I truly love it and I won’t be switching to another cleanser. It keeps my skin hydrated, smooth, bright, and helps with dark spots.

I’ve settled on CeraVe after research and reviews give it a high rating for performance and affordability. Needless to say, they are not wrong. It took a minute for me to get accustomed to the silky texture of the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser, Moisturizing Face Wash. It has the thickness and consistency of a lotion: no foam, no suds. So applying this after wetting my face felt weird. Then massaging it into my skin? That felt even weirder. But the reward comes after rinsing off and patting dry. My skin feels soft and smooth. Fortunately, I haven’t experienced a negative reaction. The product lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. It’s perfect for cleansing in the morning when I’m washing off products I applied the night before. I make that distinction because I tried using this at night after wearing makeup and I had to wash twice. The CeraVe cream to foam cleanser is recommended for pm use and for makeup removal. I bought that as well even though I rarely wear makeup these days, but that’s another product review. I’m so pleased that I’ve added other CeraVe anti-aging products to my routine because who doesn’t want to age well?
