Best metal polish
I have been using this product for around ten years now. I work with both antique and vintage jewelry that needs cleaning and care, as well as the jewelry and components I produce myself. We use an acid based patina or metal etch on some of our finishes, which are then washed and hand finished. Since we start with an acidic etch, it is important to me that the finishing product not include acidic compounds for cleaning, and this polish meets those needs. Easy to use, lasts a long time, and so very cost effective. This is a product I use every day. This product can be used on virtually any metal, including stainless steel, and will retard spotting on sinks. You can also use this as a rubbing compound on acrylics, and I polished out some scratches on the cover for our turnable, so very versatile. Invented by a woman, works incredibly well, and is scented "French Lavender." It is not going to get any better than this!

Great stuff
I make jewelry from old world coins (no longer spendable for a variety of reasons). We visit a local coin dealer and pay 10¢ a coin or $8 for a pound of assorted coins from around the world. Some have definitely seen better days, especially the ones that are 100 years old or older. Real coin collectors know you never clean or polish coins, as it destroys their value; but, as I use these as jewelry bits to make earrings, bracelets, necklaces etc... I like them clean and shiny! This stuff is awesome. You squeeze a bit from the tube and rub it on the coin, let it set for a bit, then polish it. The tarnish comes right off, leaving a clean and gleaming coin with a luster that lasts, negating the need to repolish them any time soon. I have also used this on brass, copper and silver items and the ease of removing tarnish makes this a winner!

Truly good for ALL metals
Bought this to reduce rust deposits on my 10 year old STAINLESS flatware (this product was recommended by the place where I originally bought the flatware). I was shocked at the amount of black tarnish I had on my cloth using it on the stainless flatware. 10 yr old flatware now looks and feels like new. I will wait to see if it helps with the rust like deposits I had been finding on the flatware after being in the dishwasher; this is the reason I bought this polish, to hopefully help the deposit problem. I used the leftover black tarnished rag and wiped out a newer but very grungy stainless steel apartment sink (as recommended on the label). Sink also now looks amazing. Finally, I used a small amount on an inexpensive silver ring that has 3 spinners out of silver, copper & brass. The ring had not responded to regular silver polish. Using a dab of this & rubbing with a soft cloth for a few minutes was all it took to make this ring look so much better. I'd never used this product before but I will keep it on hand - a great find for sure!

Performs as advertised
I used this on some very tarnished copper and it came out looking nice and shiny. I've also seen that the shine lasts for a long while. I used it about 1 month ago and the piece is still bright even though it's been exposed to the elements. Applying the polish per instructions is pretty straight forward and not difficult. When it's time to wipe it off, some vigorous rubbing with a cloth may be required (as in my case) depending on the degree to which the piece is tarnished. After rubbing the polish off on one section of the piece, it's necessary to keep using a clean portion of the cloth to get the best results. I am satisfied with the product and would buy it again.

How did this product get SO expensive?!?!
I bought a tube of this some years ago that just ran out. So I just came online to buy more and am astonished at the price! I Can't recall the price when I first bought it, but know it wasn't nearly so costly. There is no way on God's greene earth would pay $83 for this or any tube of metal polish.Mind you, it's a great product, but FAR too expensive. I'll try the liquid and just hope it works well enough.

Ridiculously expensive
I started using this product at my job 12 yrs ago, and only because my boss liked the so called french lavender stripe lable, also a ridiculous reason, but same product at appx 7.00 a tube. It's a good product but stupidity priced. It is NOT worth it.

Bless you, whoever you are, you clever woman
I've used Wright's, among many other silver polishes. This is the best I tried so far, hands down. I have a drawerful of mismatched sterling silverware I use every day (and very hard water, argh) and I collect antique Navajo silverwork. (Think large, old, mutton-fat crusted, deeply tarnished coin silver concho belts, cuffs, rings, squash blossom necklaces from the early 1900's and imagine trying to keep it looking good but old.) My chief concerns are 1) keeping the patina on antique jewelry (the dark areas in the crevices) and buffing the surface so it's brightish and 2) polishing the silverware with less effort and less often.Jewelry: This MAAS stuff does not settle and whiten in the stampwork as does the paste types, it does clean the silver but it does not strip all away from the deep spots where the darkness is meant to stay. If I wanted to, I could remove all traces of tarnish as I do with the silverware, but it allows me to control the amount of shine vs. patina I keep.Silverware: Takes less effort to get things bright.Out of curiosity, I used Wrights on some conchos of a belt and MAAS on others and waited to see how long it took each to tarnish. MAAS looked cleaner and tarnished slower. So I"m convinced. It shines faster, leaves less to no residue and delays tarnish. I hate polishing silver but I love my stuff. For me this is a major improvment.
