not a long term unit, getting dull already
Bought this to cut out 10 glass shelves from some old windows I scored for free on CL. OK... worked for that but when I was finishing up the last ones I could tell this unit no longer had that same feel, like I could for sure tell the little wheel was getting dull. Still works, but, I now need to "press harder" and that is not good as it flexes the glass more. I would have thought this would have been able to handle more cutting before it started to dull like this. Yes I did use oil.

Does cut glass well, but came missing the set screw.
This product was delivered on time. It did work to cut glass as intended. The only drawback is that my glass cutter came without a set screw. As a result, the cutting head falls off of the handle when you turn the cutter down towards the glass to make a cut.The result is a bunch of glass cutting oil spilling out of the handle portion onto the glass surface. After a few tries, I got pretty good with physically holding the cutting portion in the handle until it was pressed against the glass. At that point, the pressure of pulling the cutter along the glass was enough to keep it in the handle and working smoothly. This would've been a 5 star review if the set screw was installed on my glass cutter. Without the screw, the cutter is awkward to use and makes a bit of a mess. The general construction seems to be high quality material. I just wish they included that pesky screw!

Don't Waste Your Time.
If you buy this item, I hope you'll have better luck.I bought this thinking "I don't do too well with the $1 cutters, so maybe paying a lot more will yield better results." Nope.I was trying to cut a 40" x 72" 1/4" mirror into three 22 x 34 mirrors. A total of six cuts. Watched videos showing how easy it should be ... don't believe it. I didn't get one good mirror. 100% waste. So I'm going to the glass shop and paying $115 for those mirrors.I've tossed the cutter.

You get what you pay for.
Works great. I am a glazier for a local school district.

A bargain at the price.
Compares with the much more expensive Toyo cutters. We will see how it holds up. Initial impression is that it is a bargain at the price charged. Feels solid and substantial.

Google glass cutting and get this product, try it yourself and I'm sure you will be very satisfied.
For a first time glass cutter, this product worked GREAT!! I love it it works great for what I do in my wood shop, like shadow box glass or flag cases.

but I’ll say that it works great for me
I don’t have a lot of experience with cutting glass so take it with a grain of salt, but I’ll say that it works great for me.

Three Stars
It cuts really nice, but the push to dispense oil feature doesn't work, leaked oil right away.
