I am recovering from hip surgery since Oct, (and I had to have a second one in Jan due to infection). I sometimes use a wheelchair when going out because the second surgery damaged my quad area of my leg and my knee is very weak. When I'm sitting so long, my tailbone and hip give me a lot of pain, so I ordered this cushion after reading the reviews, etc. I have tried to sit in it several times and am disappointed each times that my tailbone hurts worse than when I use nothing.
