Wonderful for drying fruit for craft use
I was originally looking for sodium bisulfite because I own a botanical business and sell dried orange and apple slices for craft purposes (not for consumption) With the bisulfite I would have to dry the orange slices for two full days and sometimes more and the apples for one day. I decided to take a chance on this product the sodium metabisulfite and I am so happy I did. My fruit slices dry in half the time and get more dry which is great for re-sale. The orange slices take only 24hrs or less and dry so well and oranges are one of the hardest fruits to dry. The apples also dry in less time and are more dry the with the other stuff. I only soak them for 5 minutes then rinse well and they are all set for the fruit dryers. Must try this stuff, not sure how it would be if you wanted to eat the fruit but for craft purposes it's wonderful.

Great deoxidizer for kegged homebrew.
Worked great as a homebrew beer deoxidizer, specifically the hazy style New England IPA. Used a 1/3 gram during kegging and it really did improve overall stability compared to previous batches. No color or flavor change after 3 weeks.Only con was I did have to let it chill (age) for an extra 8 days until the sulfur smell subsided but, well worth it in the end.

Product doesn’t look like this when it comes. I received something that seemed more official and a better seal on the bag so that’s nice. Works well for sanitizing my wine making supplies.
