Musashi Japanese Spicy Mayo - 12oz Squeeze Bottle

Very good but very spicy. If it is too hot for you, take some of the sauce and mix some regular mayonnaise to it a little at a time and you will be able to get the flavor and it will cut back down on the spice.

Ok, so I finally tried this item after several months left in the fridge. Sorry, I generally don't like mayo to begin with, but I love spice. The spice is definitely present. However, the color of my spicy mayo is a deep, blood-like orange hue...nothing like the yellow color pictured here. I squeezed a generous portion into my canned tuna with some sriracha and was pleasantly surprised by the spice kick (sriracha is like a level 2 out of 10 on the spice scale for me). I can't wait to try it on sandwiches and french fries. It's like pink sauce (for you SE Southerners) but without the ketchup.

odd stuff, but tasty.this is not like, if you mixed kewpie mayonnaise with sriracha. not exactly sure how to describe it.it's definitely more like japanese mayo than american, and it's definitely spicy. it was worth trying, but not sure I would buy again.

My husband and I order from Sakura alll of the time. We always tell them to give us extra spicy mayo because it is awesome! I was craving to buy my own and ordered this. No way does this compare to it. It has a generic spicy pepper taste, not a good one, and nothing what we are used to. I will be ordering another brand or maybe I will ask the restaurant the rand they use since theirs is so addicting! This is not good people--- don't waste your time or money

I don't like it at all. It is way too thick for my liking. The overall taste of it is disgusting. I made sushi and put some over an entire roll, and lets just say the roll did not get eaten. If it wasn't so thick and actually tasted like "spicy mayo" I would've given it a better review.

I took a chance hoping this was same stuff the place that the place where I get sushi uses and sometimes includes a container of depending on what type of sushi you order. This appears to be the same stuff and it is the best spicy mayo I ever had, I don't know whats in it and its not over powering just that perfect blend of smoothness and spiciness that goes great on almost anything, of course sushi but works excellent on eggs, hamburgers and just almost any kind of sandwich that you would use regular mayo on but want a little kick.

flavor is ok but after trying it, it just sat in the refrigerator and I threw it out after a few weeks. We make sushi and rolls on occasion. I guess we prefer making our own sauces from scratch.

I didn't expect this to be as spicy as it was. I love spice so I don't mind, but for those who can't handle the heat, I'm not sure if this is for you. I used it on hot dogs and sausages and it went perfectly. Imagine if Kewpie and the original Sriracha had a love child ... that's what this is.Next I'm going to try it on my ceviche tostadas as a base. I already know it's going to be glorious.
