Q: What’s the material?

It feel like a Jersey material and very soft. This hasn’t bothered my dogs spay site at all

Q: I just bought this item and see only four snaps in back -two on each side of the tail. Where are the socket snaps they attach to on the other side?

The 4 on the underneath are laid out to be used for 2 different length sizes. The attachment for 2 snaps are located on the underneath of the garment at the low back/ top of tail. I hope I understand your question correctly

My Cavapoo is 17.5” long and 22lbs and fits in a size M. The size depends primarily on the length of your dog. For best fit please measure the length of your dog (from the base of the neck to the base of the tail) and refer to the size chart. Thanks and have a comfortable recovery!
