Balance Bar 9077-01/9060-01 Double Horse RC Helicopter

I bought the DH9077 balance bar as a mod for my DH9118 Heli, It's lighter, shorter and made of plastic. The only downside is that it's a tad on the expensive side, I would like to see DH come out with one without the LED in the balance bar. It has eliminated the blade strikes that I used to get when doing tight "nose in funnels" and tight turns into the wind. With all of the oter mods I made to the DH9118, It's now a flying Heli, that can be flown outdoors in a light wind (5 to 6 mph)J

Battery compartment was completely corroded and the LED light wouldn't work not even with new batteries for this I give it one star. Didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it so I kept it, helicopter flies fine without the lights just disappointed I didn't get what I paid for.

I purchased this balance bar of the 9077 RC Helicopter to replace the one on my 9053 model. IT is light weight plastic and slightly shorter as compared to the heavy metal bar. IT fits and works like a charm.It can also take another connect buckle which i added.No more do i have to deal with the metal bar hitting my blades when ever i have to take off or trying some other maneuvering.I recommend this balance bar for all who are interested in doing some kind of mod to their Double Horse 9053 RC Helicopter.

I ordered this balance bar to put on a Double horse 9101, it fit perfectly. Mainly to fix the problem of the original large metal balance bar hitting the lower blades which spin in opposite direction. That was causing the blade strike in mid air and then the plummet to the ground if you have a double horse 9101 or volitition helicopter you will know what i mean and this balance bar will almost completely fix that problem and it flies great with it. It has the mount for two connector clips which is nice, stock one for 9101 only has one. It also has a light which comes on when moving and adds a cool effect. If you are anal about weight balance, like me, they are not very balanced but you can balance them by holding it with a pin through the center allowing the heavyer side to teeter lower, then apply a peice of black tape to the lighter side, adjust the length of that tape until it sits level. Im sure theres other ways too, but thats what worked for me, and you dont even have to do that if you dont want. Seems a little pricey at $12 for what it is, just plastic not even all that durable either, one broke within the first few flights, that is the way with rc helis though, so maybe buy two. I would recomend it if you own dh 9101 or 9053, makes a huge difference in performance.

This is not the upgraded balance bar, it is plastic and it will tip into the blades more easily, It is a direct replacement for earlier models that came before with the plastic balance bar. There is a metal one that causes far less crashes and that should be used. Although this seller ships fast and sold exact fit factory replacement part.

Had no idea there was a light built in to the end piece; nice touch, especially when flying in low light conditions. Item fit perfectly and nice to get rid of the unnecessarily heavy original metal balance bar.

I bought my 9077-01 double horse balance bar from Athena I Nguyen and the balance bar with the 9100 quick wear accessories arrived quick, well packed and not a issue with price. I only bought one of these 9077 balance bars to replace the 9053 stock bar from what I've seen on YouTube so I hope its as good as people say and holds up. the price was about average with this being the cheapest among the rest, even on eBay. typically they run for $15 so I got mine here for $12. its pretty close to the same size as the stock metal bar on the DH 9053, all I needed to do was remove the center pin that holds the stock bar on the shaft, disconnect the buckle from the bar and replace it with this 9077 bar and use a extra buckle which I have handy, the 9053 only uses one buckle and the 9077 uses two buckles to attach to the shaft.there is also a LED that looks blue/green in color, I think others are red. so when the blades spin they light up the blades.

This balance bar, although it looked like it was the right one, doesn't fit my helicopter. This is my second try and neither one worked.
