Fantastic and full of surprises.
I was on the lookout for a general purpose screwdriver to keep in the kitchen. I have plenty of tools so this was just for a "quick fix cause I don't wanna go to the garage for my 'good' tools"My requirements were that it's ratcheting, magnetic and stores multiple bits in the handle. I looked at a lot of drivers and typically I'd find that either it's not magnetic, or the handle is poorly designed, or the ratchet breaks or in the case of the "james bond" screwdriver, it's just too pricy.I stumbled on this one with it's 2 reviews or so and figured I'd take a risk and try it.I am happy to say that this screwdriver has met my expectations and exceeded them in some respects. It is reasonably well made, the ratchet works fine (time will tell) and the extra features and rather neat.1 - it has a 2 piece design so you can use it as full size or a stubby driver2 - it has a built-in magnetic pick-up tool that extends to something like 18-20" (i didnt measure, but it's reasonable given the size)3 - it has what I think is absolutely ingenious - in the bit holder, there is a little tube that holds several microbits which are good for electronics and glasses and whatnot. These bits mount into the tube they're held in so what you have is a small micro-driver inside the handle of the full-sized driver - brilliant!I've seen people complain about a "chintzy" handle. This is partially true. Clear plastic is not the fanciest material and it is a bit slippery, but I find it thick enough that it's likely to survive falls and bangs and it's a comfortable shape. I suppose if your hands get really sweaty or greasy, it might be an issue. My only (very minor) issue is that switching bits is not a quick affair. you have to unscrew the back, take out the holder, and swap the current bit with the one you want. The holder is very tight and some people may have an issue extracting the bits. If you have to switch bits constantly, this can get annoying. In my case, for the occasional fix-it job around the house, usually i'ts 1 bit for a while or at most 2 (in which case you can just keep both handy while doing the repair).I was going to give this 4 stars due to the bit management, but the other features more than make up for it.

Superb Multi-Bit Ratcheting Screwdriver; On-Board 11-Bit Storage, Rubberized Grip, Telescoping, Magnetic Retractor, 4 Micro Bits
I'm assembling basic tool kits for young women recently graduating high school and college and wanted a multi-bit ratcheting screwdriver with on-board storage. I selected the T19452 because it featured a dual-handle option where you can use it with just the stubby-part of the handle for tight spaces. I've tried other models that have the magnetic extension retracting device and was glad this had one, but it wasn't a primary reason I purchased this model. It's exceeded my expectations, and I've purchased about a dozen of them. I like the rubberized grip and how compactly and securely it all stores together (with the rubberized ratcheting part securing to the storage base with a magnetic catch that helps secure the square base into the rubberized handle). It opens sensibly and easily unscrews and isn't a hassle to access individual bits or put things away. Only minor issue is that the bit-holder only has slots for ten bits and eleven are included. I prefer to store the tool without a bit loaded and there was room in the storage handle to insert the 11th bit before closing the handle, but it would be nice if it wasn't in there loose as I worry that it will fall out and get lost at some point. The enclosed black, bit-holder that securely inserts onto a post inside the clear, storage handle is well designed. The bits aren't rattling around loose in there and it's easy to see that all bits are where they're supposed to be when you're done (to insure you've not left one out by mistake).Unlike other styles of multi-bit screwdriver bit storage devices (where the bits fit down inside rubber holes or slots), with this one, you can position the bits so the clearly stamped size and type markings on each one are easily visible and you don't, therefore, need to pull them in and out to make sure you've got the proper size bit.The cover for the handle insert that holds all the bits is easy to remove and better-still, the bits are securely held, but aren't difficult to remove and reinsert (which can be a frustrating issue with other multi-bit styles - especially if you have large hands). In addition to the range of standard bits, the kit includes a small, clear handle/holder that also rides on the bit-carousel. It contains two, double-sided mini-bits for opening smaller screws typically found in battery compartments of small electronic devices. The clear case that holds the mini-bits transforms into the screwdriver-handle for those bits. Note that the mini-bits aren't ratchet driven. But overall, they're a nice and clever addition to the set and will be certainly functional for most uses. The magnetic pick-up wand also serves to help connect the ratcheting handle to the base. The stubby/rubberized part of the screwdriver is magnetized with a square insert and the magnets help properly lock and secure it into place with the handle.Especially for young women and women generally, a ratcheting screwdriver is really a must-have component for a basic, tool-novice's tool kit as the torque action helps reduce the amount of force and strength we need to firmly screw into wood or plastic without pilot holes for many projects. The T15 and T20 "star" bits are also a big plus with this set as many lesser and more expensive multi-bit screwdrivers only offer an on-board range of Phillips and flat/slotted bits. The T15 and T20 "star" bits are my new favorites as the screws they work with are much less likely to strip and are easier to work with.I recommend this set both to beginners and for others who would like to keep a range of bits and a ratcheting screwdriver handy in a kitchen or office drawer (without needing to run to the garage or tool shed to fetch a larger set). Excellent quality and features for the price and overall, a very compact and well-designed tool. Only thing I have a little concern about is the telescoping extension wand with the magnetic tip seems flimsy when it's fully extended and I can imagine it might be easy to accidentally bend or crimp it if it's left extended after use -- so I would caution users to close it up immediately after using it to retrieve a stray screw in order to avoid accidentally bending or breaking it.For storage and reference, with all bits stored and the stubby ratcheting "business-end" of the screwdriver secured to the storage base, it measures about 6 1/2" long,If I were to change anything about it, I might like the addition of an extension socket that would extend the reach of the bits into areas that don't have enough clearance (if that's unclear, think about what a standard screwdriver looks like with a 6 or 8" metal shaft -- because the bits connect right at the base of the ratchet, this may be an issue for some applications -- but it's an easy enough fix if it's also a concern for you; you can pick up something like the "3pc Magnetic Bit Holder Extensions 2-4-6" Quick Change" set also here on Amazon and with that, I can't see how anyone would be disappointed with this product.

Great tool!
Love this tool. It's well-designed and sturdy; the ratchet mechanism is solid and is very handy for speeding up insertion and removal of screws. I keep this in my desk drawer. I've got complete matched sets of various screwdrivers in my basement workshop as well as a high-end DeWalt battery screwdriver, but this having this at hand is perfect for those little jobs that pop up.

Best I've Ever Owned - Will Buy More To Replace Other Screwdrivers Around The House
Best screwdriver + ratchet I've ever owned. Extra features like pulling the top off to become a stubby, having a telescopic magnet inside, carrying all the bits around inside, and having a micro-set included makes this the perfect screwdriver. Oh, and at a great price too. I'm ordering extras and replacing other screwdrivers around the house.

Works as intended
Multi-purpose use screwdriver. One of the things I like about the screw driver is that you only need one screwdriver for multiple jobs, including the use of a stubby screwdriver. One thing I don't like is that the ratchet function sometimes works and sometimes doesn't - depending on the angle it is being used at. Overall, good screwdriver, especially for the price.

A good tool to have
The mechanism to switch the direction of the ratchet sits on an awkward place and the portion for the jewlers screws isn't as sturdy as i hoped but all in all a good tool

Works very well has a much better ratcheting mechanism than others in its price range and magnet grabber is great for dropped screws and bolts in tight areas and an eyeglass repair kit included in handle with other useful bits that can be interchanged.
