I was taken with the idea of replacing my beaten up old fish tank habitat with a neat "antiquities" style upgrade. After measuring my tank and my old ornament, I decided on this one - I'm so glad I did! I have the five gallon Aqueon lighted set-up, and this vase fits PERFECTLY across the bottom. It's tall enough to look balanced and the holes are the perfect size for him to "perch" in and swim through! I didn't have it in there for 5 minutes before the little guy was zipping through the holes with great enthusiasm.I read a couple of the other vase reviews about vase type ornaments and wanted to leave feedback for this one.1. It didn't have sharp edges. I felt all along the entire inside and unless a very large fish (well, about 3x the size of my betta) decided to go in it, it's plenty roomy and not pokey.2. It was very well packed! Lots of padding, no breakage.3. The colors look beautiful and vibrant - very terra cotta.I'm perfectly happy with this piece and would buy it again.

I got this for a 10 gallon tank that contains a Betta fish. This looks amazing in the tank it is quite large, and has a lot of nice openings in it. Their is an opening in the back, front, top, and spout of vase (their is also an opening on the bottom that goes into the gravel). It is a great size and is large enough where the betta will go into it. The betta swims through all the holes and the handle, and often will stop and lay down on the opening of the spout. It is very good quality and is a thick material, and looks authentic in the tank (not over bright colors, but looks like an old vase, what I wanted). I am very happy with this vase and highly recommend it.In the end this is a great addition to a larger size tank (probably 5 gallons or more, it is probably too big for anything under that). My betta fish loves swimming through it and laying on the spout opening, and seems very happy now that he has something to explore. Highly recommend!!!!

It's very attractive and fits in well with my theming, but it's a bit smaller than I thought it was going to be. The measurements reflect the jug handles and the entire length, not the cave proportions. It's about the right size for 4in cichlids like Malawi mbunas, most firemouths, jewels, and convicts.

I placed this vase in my fluval spec v. It looks beautiful! I attached a plant at the top and my betta, Tenchi, loves to sit on the leaves at the top. He likes to swim through the vase and sometimes he sits inside. I've had it for 3 months now, and there's been no issues so far with it chipping, peeling, leeching in the water or anything. There was some sharp edges inside, so I filed them smooth and it's been fine. It is a little top heavy, so I made sure I weighted it down with gravel in the bottom and placed some rocks around it to make sure it stays in place. The fluval spec v is a narrow tank, but it fit fine with a little swimming room around it. I really love how it looks in my tank!

This such a pretty addition to my Roman theme that I have set up in one of my aquariums. Nice quality, came well packed, pretty colors, great size.

This product is really cute. I picked it up for my ball python and when it came in, I noticed it had some very sharp edges from the moulding process. That happens with some decor, so I grabbed my sand paper and worked on somoothing out the sharp edges. While doing that, 3 large pieces broke off that were barely holding on. I'm still going to use it, but I just wanted to let people know it's very fragile.

Beautiful addition to a large tank. Just what I wanted.

Took less than six months for large chunks of the paint and top layer of resin to flake off. Will be removing from the tank for safety, unsure if the fish will accidentally eat paint chips.

Looks good - I checked the measurements before ordering and the size was, therefore, as expected. Fish swim in and out of it and the shrimp have made it their home.

This item we recieved is beautiful, however when we recieved it, the box the item was in was completely busted open and the vase it self has been damaged... it just adds to the effect on how the vase is made which is beautiful and makes it look even more interesting and antique. However we are disappointed that it is broke and the box was mangled and had been torn open. This shouldn't reflect on the company because this is absolutely a beautiful vase.
