Full Size Natural Hair Product Set: Conditioner + Detangler (x2), Shampoo (x1), Leave-In Moisturizer (x1) - Queen of Kinks, Curls & Coils ~ Your Dry Hair Days Are Over

Hi Heather good day. So i tried your hair line Queen of Kinks curls & coils 2 time just to make sure I can give a honest review.1. The Sulfate free cream shampoo made my hair feel hard and tangled. I was confused; i couldn't understand why my hair was reacting that way the a, Sulfate free shampoo so I read the ingredients. I was very shock to see some of components, cetearyl alcohol, sodium cocoyl isethionate, sodium benzoate and sodium Lauroyl methyl isethionate, all of these isn't good for my hair type. I grow 3 different hair textures.2. The pre-poo detangler & nourishing conditioner Is the only product for this hair I love. I like that there are 2 conditions in the set, very thoughtful of you. This is one of my favorites now along with your hair oil. I mix the conditioner and olive oil, it detangled my hair like magic. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this and I will continue to purchase this, i just wish it didn't have Cetearyl alcohol.3. The leave in conditioner moisture is okay, it didn't do much for me.The don't want back my money at alllllll because I love you and I was happy to support another woman.All the best!

Here is my review of the Queen of Kinks, Curls & Coils Boxed set products that I purchased with my own money. I decided to purchase after subscribing to and following Heather's YouTube channel for the past several months and seeing how she cares for her very healthy hair. Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to make sure I was thorough and fair to anyone else that reads this as well as to Heather and her company.I used the Pre-Poo Detangler & Nourishing Conditioner and the Leave-in Conditioning Moisturizer, did not use the shampoo only because I use clay to wash my hair and it works for me. With that said here is my assessment of the products that I used and how I used them. Before starting I gave myself a ACV rinse because I wanted to make sure my hair was free of all products. I loved the pre poo detangler, I found my hair very easy to finger detangler and in a very short period of time. After the detangler I did my clay wash followed with a second application of the pre poo detangler to condition my hair as suggested in the booklet. I then applied the leave in conditioner moisturizer. What can I say other then I loved them, they left my hair feeling super moisturized and soft. For those that are interested in pictures the first few is my hair after the pre poo and the third after my clay wash. The pre-poo detangler left my hair very moist, felt very strong and I immediately started seeing more coils than normal. I followed that up with the leave in conditioner. The booklet has this as the last step in the wash day process, but I know my hair so I moved on with adding butter to my hair prior to twisting to seal in moisture. The remaining pictures are after taking out my twist. Let me say this is the first product that have left my normally dull looking hair shiny and believe me I've tried a lot of products that's supposed to leave your hair shiny. I have a very small section of what would be considered 4B hair in the back, 4C everywhere else except for the very top that only curls on the ends. After using these products the hair on the top of my head had nice defined twist and the rest of head my head as you can see from the pictures had defined curls with nice movement. I have no complaints only very positive things to say about the products I used. One more think worth mentioning is after twisting my hair and sleep on it I usually see lots of little frizzy fly aways, none of that this morning. My hair is just beautiful. It's bouncy, shiny, well hydrated and just looks and feels wonderful.I normally use Camille Rose Jai butter and leave and I was looking for a second product, didn't want to just rely on one as you know sometimes products are discontinued or formulas are changed. I am very happy to say that these will be added to my list. I want to point out that I've tried a lot of other products I've tried Shea Moisture, As I Am and Cantu Shea Butter to name a few, but none of them did well on my hair.I do understand the comments about the price and agree they are a little bit pricey in comparison to other products and I hope that overtime Heather will be able to reduce the costs. I kept in mind though that no two products work the same for everyone and feel finding the right products is a journey and sometimes we have to spend a little extra if possible. By the way a little goes along way, I used very little product. I also took into consideration how much I use to spend at the hair salon and for products for my hair when I had relaxed hair and truthfully it balances out for me especially seeing how healthy my hair is one year post relaxer.As I mentioned earlier I did not try the shampoo because again I don't use shampoo, but maybe down the road I will give it a try and if so update my review. The only advice I would offer Heather is to maybe ditched the fancy box. It's very beautiful, but not necessary. I'm a recycler so I'll find a use for it but I think to help cut down the cast it could go, maybe consider replacing it with a nice little bag for the boxed set or a plain old brown box will do. I think for customers what's more important is what's inside the tube not the packaging. I know you're very proud of the box and tube designs, but anything design wise you can do to help cut cost it would be a win win for your customers and your company.I am encouraging everyone that's reading these reviews to give her products a try. Maybe just buy the one thing that you find lacking in your current regiment, you know maybe you don't need all of the product. Like I said I have no plans to use the shampoo right now, but I will definitely purchased a pre poo detangler and the leave-in again because I love my result.I plan to incorporate these products into my current regime. I will continue using my current conditioner to detangle and follow up with my sodium bentonite clay wash. Then condition with the Pre Poo Detangler/Conditioner and the Leave in moisturizer. The recommendation say that this should be the last step in the wash day process but my hair needs the butter so I will continue to twist my hair with my homemade whipped butter to seal in moisture.

Hi! First of all, I follow you and social media and it's great to see another woman succeed as you have. I bought 3 sets of this product as my three daughters and I are all natural and have been for years now. We were somewhat confused as to why there were no instructions concerning use of the products included. We found the preposterous leave lots to be desired for our hair. It left our hair sort of crunchy and frankly I believe it contribute to my hair and one of my daughter's hair breakage. I just might be getting a refund on at least one of the unopened products. I hate saying this because I was genuinely ready to shout out your products to my natural peeps in my circle of influence.

This Delivers! The PrePoo/Conditioner had my 4C coils popping outta nowhere! Very moisturizing and hydrating never had a conditioner perform quite this way on my hair, it really penetrated my strands, love it! The shampoo left hair feeling clean, soft and stretched and my coils were already visible. The leave-in had a slight foaming action that absorbed into my hair easily further defining my coils; The whole process left me with super soft elongated and detangled hair. Wish it would always be available, stocking up!

Wow. I just LOVED this. My husband bought for me probably because he got tired of listening to me complaining that there aren't much "natural" hair products out there. It was easy to use, left my hair smooth, not greasy, easy to detangle. And it smells really good. I have crazy mixed girl hair on steroids...I added pictures of how my hair is without natural products and after I used this product. HUGE DIFFERENCE moisture makes.

Good value for the size of products included at this price point however I did not like the smell of the product or the way it made my hair feel. Below are pictures to show the ingredients from left to right shampoo, conditioner and leave in moisturizer

It smells good! The Pre-poo conditioner was AMAZING on my hair. It made it soft and easy to detangle. The shampoo, however, was a different story. It made my hair dry and brittle. Next time, I'll skip on using the shampoo. Everything else is good though!

These are great products. I've been using them for only one week and with one shampoo but they have made my hair feel like hair again. They also have a wonderful aroma.
