It's a neat expansion to the game.
It ads some extra options for elf heroes that don't move and some dark player faction heroes that also don't move a lot. It changes the base game a bit bye allowing the fellowship to split up earlier and it does give the Dark player some options for making Moria a bit harder to take, it also changes a bit how golem and Smeogel will play. If you have already played the game like 2 times, it's a pretty solid upgrade to add some options to game play.

Just a overall great expansion. Has better gameplay value then warriors of middle earth and is helps to balance the game

Super Expansion for War of the Ring!
Brilliant expansion to one of my all-time favorite games. "Lords" adds, well, Lords of Middle-Earth, specifically Elrond and Galadrial, as well as a few tweeks (i.e. new cards) for many of the other major characters in WOTR (new Witch King card, etc). Each lord even comes with their own special (and very cool) set of dice! Neat! And it comes with miniatures for Gandalf The White and Aragorn (Elessar)! There's even a figure for the BALROG OF MORIA!! How can you beat that?This is a MUST own for experienced WOTR players.
