King Arthur Unbleached Bread Flour, 5-pounds (Pack of 4)

My sourdough baby loves this flour, and it is great for baking when a higher protein flour is wanted. AND it is a US, employee-owned company!!

Texture of the bread was much better than using general purpose flour, even in one hour quick loaf mode.

Use for baking sourdough bread. Excellent product, good flavor.

Love this. Bread comes out tasty, not too dry and not too moist.

Best bread flour on the market. Can get cheaper at Target

There is no doubt that this is the best bread flour on the market. I live in a remote area and had recently received a bread machine as a gift. I learned quickly that this specialized flour with it's higher gluten content makes the best loaf from machines. Since my local store doesn't carry it, I decided to order it through Amazon. I ordered it on January 4. It is now January 29 and I still have not received my order. Since this package was not shipped through Amazon, I can not track the package. I have no idea why I have not received my order, or when it may get here. I have finally decided to cancel my order. I can buy this flour at a store 1.5 hours away. Orders through this company seem to be an issue.

Two of the bags of flour were broken open upon delivery.

It was hard to rate this item. The flour is excellent & I love using it. It's quality is actually 5 stars. The packaging however, was horrid & 2 of the 4 bags of flour were busted open upon arrival. What a mess that was.UPS did the seller no favors as the external box was beaten up, but the seller also did themselves no favors as the bags of flour had no packing materials & were tightly jammed into the shipping box...too tight actually. Any sort of less than perfect handling would have busted the bags inside the box.
