Great find for the money. Worked as advertised.
This worked great for me. My puppy had chewed a hole in his thick, waterproof crate pad cover. It was a custom size and fairly expensive, so I was hoping I wouldn’t have to replace it. This tape was the answer!. It was easy to work with and adhered well. It’s been two weeks with almost daily use and is still in place. The dark blue was exactly as pictured. It seems to have sealed the hole well with no sign of moisture leaking through. This was a great find for the money.

Excellent and easy to use.
Excellent! The gear aid tenatious tape worked perfectly. I somehow managed to get a 1/2 inch right angle tear in the bottom of my Acothat 4 inch thick, self inflating mattress. The tape fixed it very easily and appears to be working perfectly. To be fair, I haven't used it since I fixed it. But, before I fixed it, I had to pile a bunch of heavy stuff on it just to keep it from self inflating while I drove home. Since fixing it, I used my pump to deflate it completely and it hasn't puffed up at all. There is a bit of a bump right where the corner type tear is. So, I put an extra patch on top of it for some extra strength. I've since read that a drop of glue before patching would help this. But I don't think it's more than a very slight cosmetic issue. Also, I found that when I tried to put the patch on, according to the directions, with the mat deflated, it was too crinkly to get a good seal. So, I did the opposite and put the pump on to blow it up. As soon as the surface was smooth and firm, I put the patch on and quickly turned the pump off. I got a perfect seal that way. I'll never camp again without this tape in my emergency kit.

Does what it's supposed to do and does it exceedingly well
Just a bit of magic here. I bought some of this fabric tape back in 2017 to fix a tear in a down jacket. I still have that jacket, and the tape is still holding the tear in place, plus the color just blended in with the color of the jacket, so unless you know where it is, you really don't notice it. I used a piece of that old tape (you get quite a large amount of tape for your purchase, so I had a huge amount left over from all those years ago) last week to fix a 2-3" rip in a winter glove, and the tape still had all its original adhesive. I've worn the gloves several times since in this cold January weather, and the tape is holding just fine, and again it's almost impossible to see the tape since the color matched so closely.

Functional repair to Gortex ski/snowboard pants
I was able to use this tape to repair my Gortex ski/snowboard pants that I love. Over Xmas, I was at a ski area and someone mishandled skis and managed to swipe the edges across the back of my leg and left a 4"-5" gash in my beloved ski/board Northface pants. Doh! Used Gorilla tape for temporary fix (works amazing), but I got this for a long term fix and kinda match the color. This did the job, at least for the one day I've used them since. A couple of things to note: - The tape is thin, but strong. When you take off the backing, you need to be very careful in handling it because it will fold back on itself and be difficult to unstick from itself. Take your time. - For long tears, they recommend using tape on both sides. For my ski/board pants, the tear didn't go through the inner lining, so maneuvering a backing piece of repair tape between the outside layer and inner lining was completely impossible. With constrained access to the back side of the tear, and having wasted some of the thin tape trying to slide a single piece into the backside of the tear, I ended up using a set of four strips (like steri-strip bandages), starting at both ends of the tear and then working toward the middle. I then used a single large piece on the outside, effectuating a strong, two-sided repair. - I used *sharp* scissors to trim/round the corners, per instructions. Dull scissors will just mangle the thin tape. - This tape requires patience and care to make it work (which it will) - Color matching gets in the ballpark, but isn't exact. My wife made me feel better by suggesting my obviously repaired pants make it look like I'm a raucous shredder, who skis the heck out of my gear. I'm in my mid-50s. :-)

Probably the best patch for coats and outerwear out there
Great product, easy to use. Used it for my down parka and I was surprised how seamless it is, the material feels very similar to what my coat is. Keeps the down in and the seal is great
