Our cat loves food puzzles and this one is great. It is "eye safe." Well, what about products that will help her health? I read all reviews and details before even considering buying this. I was a little put off by the positive reviews where people got the product for free or at a discount. I want to know what people who paid full price think! (Like me.) But I went ahead and ordered because they do have a 30 day money back guarantee. The feeder arrived quickly. It smells a teeny bit, but not enough to bother me or the cat. I bought a small and after taking it out of the box, I thought it may be too small. However, the small is the perfect size for my cat. At first, she didn't want anything to do with it... But she was curious enough to try it after the food went in. She tried biting the nubs once or twice so I'm happy it's safe for her teeth. Then she finally started making her way through the food maze. The time it takes for her to eat has doubled. I've noticed less mewing for food so I feel like she feels she is getting more since it takes her longer. She also didn't paw the food out of the dish like I thought she would. Some kibble does go over the edges, but I just place it on a tray for easy clean up. I do like to take it away from her after all the food is gone so she doesn't get any ideas about playing with it. If you're pet is a chewer, I wouldn't keep it on the floor after meal time. She has pushed it around a little, but hasn't tried to flip it over. Found out it secures to the floor with a little water underneath if you're worried about that. I have cleaned it off after dry food, but have not tried putting wet food on it yet. (Cleans very easily.) I think that will take a little longer for her to finish. I also like the bright color choices since cats can see bright colors best. My princess got pink. Overall, I think it was a good choice in gift and I'm quite satisfied. I would definitely purchase again if need be. (I might get a second one in a different color for wet food.)

Well, I initially loved it. My cat gobbles food and I wanted him to eat slower. It worked for the first time Bruiser at off it. Then the next time I noticed pieces of the top nubs were missing. He's biting off the tips of the nubs! I tried another bowl that had the same type of rubbery texture as a skirt on the bottom of the bowl to keep it from sliding, and he chewed on that, too. So I think he just likes to chew this type of material.

Although it slowed my dog's eating down it did not solve her indigestion problem. She is a small dog and althogh she enjoys her dry kibble I am now in the process of changing her food to wet food from dry kibble hoping this will cure her indigestion problems. I might use this bowl for wet food but I an going to use her regular feeding bowl for this change at the present time.

This worked wonders to slow down my speedy Gonzalez chihuahua who eats like she thinks this dinner will be the last food ever found on planet earth. Sadly, my dog sitter left it down on the floor (I always put it down just at feeding time) and my crazy pup chewed it up right quick. It had a nice, smooth texture, was easy to clean, and did not slide.

Love this dog dish!! My puppy slowed down her eating considerably. One obstacle down now to figure out how to get her to chew hard food, right now we have to soak it water to make it really soft. Any ideas how to get her to chew hard food instead of swallowing it while.

I saw this on TV and decided to try it. I was afraid my Chihuahua wouldn't like it because he's scared of everything but he likes it fine. It is supposed to help with their digestion and since he throws up a bit it seems to help. I have had it several weeks and he hasn't thrown up since I got it.
