Calibre Support Wrist Brace, RSI Support Offering Instant Relief for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tendonitis and Wrist Pain - Adjustable Fit with Removable Splint

I ordered this product because I had been being awakend at least once, and kept awake, every night by numbness and "prickles" in both of my hands and wrists. I have not been to any doctor for this condition and I suspect it is carpel tunnel. I typically don't have any problems during the day. I ordered both the right and the left hand, and was shocked that even on the the very first night - NO NUMBNESS at all! My father uses one, as well as my brother (not sure if they are this same brand). These are well-sewn and comfortable, and I am no longer woken up by the numbness. Thank you, Calibre!

Pros: price, concept, size. Much less bulky that the one from my bone doc.Cons: a skosh too small. The next size up would be way too huge though.I like that the Velcro doesn't ruin my clothes like some. Love that!Some of the thread is unraveling, and I'm afraid a strap will fall off, so I'm putting some Essie Nail Lacquer on it in "for the twill of it." It is a lovely dark irredesent that matches pretty well.Straps are extremely hard to undo.Update: I'm looking for another brace. I don't like the fact that:1. It gets very hot and sweaty, and my skin feels like plastic when I take off the splint2. The whole thing turns, no matter how tight I make the straps.3. The worst thing is that the metal part just slips down. How annoying.4. The brace slips down too. It is annoying.In short, I'm looking for a new brace.

I first bought two of these braces in the size that was supposed to have been appropriate for my wrist size. Consequently, the supports were too tight, too small. I also discovered the splint was slipping free of the enclosure and the material over the splint was unraveling on one of the braces. I wrote a review to the seller, Calibre, and they immediately responded regarding my issues with the braces. They offered to refund me the money or replace the braces. I chose to have the braces replaced. They sent the larger size and I find these new braces to fit well. And, the splints are not slipping free of their enclosures. The design of the brace is slim and easily fits under long sleeves. The material is fairly breathable; and it is soothing and comfortable. Calibre's customer service is top-notch and gets 5 Stars.

I purchased this product because I have carpel tunnel in both wrists. My doctor has brought up surgery if I don't start wearing braces most of the time. I had an existing brace for my right wrist and needed one for my left. This brace is SO much more comfortable then the old one I have. I couldn't do anything with my old brace. I had to take it off to to anything. This one is thinner, but still an awesome quality. I have much more flexible range of motion, which means I can pretty much keep it on and do most activities. I received this product discounted and was so happy with my purchase that I could no longer wear the old one on my right wrist (knowing how awesome and comfortable my left wrist felt) and purchased another brace, at the full cost they had listed the next day!

Arrived within a day, wasn't what I was expecting - but working extremely well for me (make sure to read the reviews, that's what I always tell myself).That being said... The velcro is VERY strong (good thing) I also was wearing this while performing difficult work (not recommended) and all remained strong. I did notice some wear on the bottom of the brace, however I was using various tools (powered & not) that most likely are not recommended at the same time. So there is some 'fuzz' appearing at the bottom of my wrist, but I'd expect this from the use I gave to it. I will order another just in case as it is keeping my wrist supported and also readily adjustable. This one ROCKS!

It arrived within a few days and by the time I started using it, the worst pain in my wrist/hand was already over. I started using it to help the healing and it provides some truly comfortable support. I bought large size and it still fits, the front velcro is maybe a bit tight. But then I seem to have a narrow wrist with big hands - always need the biggest holes in bowling balls just to get my fingers in ;-) Talking of the velcro, this is tough. I use it on my right hand and need to loosen it with my weaker left. Man, getting that thing open is one tough job. I don't think elderly people would be able to do it. Anyway, I can manage, would recommend it to friends and buy it again.

I'm excited to announce that it fits! I have very small hands and wrists, so I was a little worried that it would be too big, but it got here and I tried it on, and it fits perfectly! The packaging for the product is nice, too, as it has instructions on best methods for fitting it to your hand. I did just notice a couple of small snags on the lining, but I imagine that's from the Velcro, so I can get over that. The metal piece meant for stabilizing the wrist/hand is removable, which might come in handy. The material inside is similar to what you would expect scuba gear to feel like, which I like! The Velcro is very sturdy, so no slippage or frequent adjusting. All in all, I'm pleased.

I had ordered the same wrist support previously but this one is slightly different from my first one. That one had 2 wide straps at the wrist and 1 narrow strap around the fingers. This one has 4 narrow strips replacing the 2 wider ones. My only complaint is that the topmost strap, around the fingers, needs to be about an inch longer. Since I sew, I can make this slight alteration myself. It is the only thing keeping you from getting 5 stars. The support allows me to get a painfree night of sleep.
