Been using it for a few days now and it is just lovely! Very gentle but effective exfoliator and it makes face washing feel more like an experience. I have a little pink plastic bowl I originally got for mixing face masks but it fits the konjac sponge perfectly, so I fill it up with hot water and let the sponge soak while I brush my teeth and such. By the time I'm done with all that it is warm and ready to go. Works great and lathers well with the kiehls face wash!I think twice a day would be overkill but nightly seems to work best for me. Love the little string on it too - makes it very convenient to hang up.

I love these little sponges! Personally I see them as the new-age loofah and with the fact that they are all-natural, it adds a sense of joy knowing I clean using nothing synthetic. They come packaged dry and small, but once held under water for a small amount of time they swell and become very spongy with a mild texture that you feel when scrubbed against the skin which results in the removal of old dead skin cells. The feeling of your skin after using these is better than any other loofah type sponge I have ever used and the shelf life of three months is outstanding. Once done using it is best to ring out excess water and left held floating by their attached strings, which durably stay in tact, and left to dry until used again. It is best to remember that though you dont neceasarily need to use soap with these, they will work more efficiently if soap is applied. If used one at a time you have over a year of clean sponges in this package, but that takes away the fun of switching it up once and a while to enjoy the benefits each individually offers. I suffer from occasional adult acne + sensitive skin and I wish I had learned about konjac sponges much earlier in my life.I've used these sponges daily for about 3 months now and my skin has gone through a transformation. I have acne much less frequently than before and when I do, it goes away faster. My skin feels smoother and better hydrated since I started using the konjac sponges. The appearance and texture of my skin has improved greatly, I'm less blotchy looking since my breakouts have been all but eliminated.I've used all of the different colors of sponges that came in this variety pack and I can't say that I can tell the difference between any of them, they all feel the same and have results about the same as the plain white one that doesn't have any added ingredients so I wouldn't waste any money on buying the different colors specifically, but these sponges are fantastic nonetheless.For my routine, I pop a sponge into a bowl of hot water to soak while I floss and brush my teeth. By the time I'm ready to wash my face, the sponge is full size and ready to go. I've used a variety of different facial cleansers, all with great results. I find that with the sponges I need less than half of the amount of cleaner I was using before with just my hands or a cloth. I wet the sponge really well, squeeze a small amount of cleanser onto the sponge and work it directly into my skin in a gentle circular motion. Makeup removers like micellar water are great with the konjac sponges. Scrubs work well with the sponges too, just have to be sure to be extra gentle and not scrub too hard.The flat side of the sponges feel a little smoother so I use that side if I need more gentle cleansing and the rounded side if I need more exfoliation.The sponges rinse out easily, I use hot water to make sure they get clean and replace them every 2-3 months depending on when they start showing some wear.I feel good knowing that the sponges are biodegradable and I'm very happy with the results I've had. I have psoriasis, so have some very dry patches of skin on my face. I've tried every kind of scrub and moisturizer I can find, but those little dry patches would not go away. Someone told me about Konjac sponges, so I thought I would give them a try. I liked this option, since it had a variety of sponges to try, at a reasonable price. After the first 2-3 days, the dry patches were still there, but I kept using the song daily. Sometimes I use it with cleanser, but I have found I like it best when I wash and rinse my face, and then use the sponge afterwards. I keep it in the shower. I've been using the sponges about 3 weeks now, and my skin definitely feels and looks better. Thensry patches are almost gone, and my skin just feels smoother overall. I will keep using, and suggest you give them a try. They look like little rocks when they arrive, but after a couple of minutes in water, the sponge is good to,go. Just read the instructions. The package also includes a couple of small self stick clips, so you can find an out of the way spot to hang the sponge when not in use. The only downside would be that there is a slight odd odor, likely from the substance the sponges are infused with. It's not overpowering, and doesn't linger, so I can live with that.

I love that konjac sponges work so well for my sensitive skin. The exfoliating effects are just ok and they don’t hold up very well. The middle is hollow and I think that is what causes the issues. I have used a few different brands and this has been my least favorite.

This is one of the best beauty cleansing products I have found in years. The sponge is hard at first. You soak it for a couple of minutes in warm water and it softens up. Rub it over your face using small circles. You can use it with a cleansing agent or not. Rinse the sponge gently and then go over your face again. Hang the sponge up by the string that comes with it. Your face will feel so smooth and clean. I did not even need a moisturizer after using it and I am old! I gave one to my daughter and she uses it more than I do. I am not sure what the different colors do for the face but the sponge is awesome!!
