’ve used Loctite Blue 242 on everything from motorcycle parts to furniture, and it works exactly as advertised. It keeps screws and bolts from vibrating loose, especially on items that see a lot of movement or stress. Really good tool to have with you when you need a durable connection. I’ve used it on cars, home projects, and more. The bottle is smaller but keep in mind that you DON’T need a lot of it to get the job done. In fact, using too much would get pretty messy. I’d say, for how cheap it is, you should at least have a bottle because you never know when something might start to back out.

Kitchen faucet had to be tightened weekly or more with allen wrench. Put a dab of this on the set screw, let set overnight and have not had to tighten since. Going on about 7 months now.

Much thinner of a liquid than expected. Also it didn’t hold the screws in the project I wanted to use it for. But maybe it’s not meant for metal on wood? The thin liquid made a mess while I was trying to complete my project which is why I give 4 stars.

If you tinker with electronics then this thread sealant is a "must have" for reassemble. Failure to lock tiny screws in place will result in those screws loosening and being lost.
