It got worse. Kept getting stuck and when I 'unlocked' it.
It was ok at first. The actual lead would get stuck but I thought I would just have to use it a while. It got worse. Kept getting stuck and when I 'unlocked' it, the lead would not retract into the handle. I had to give it a tug. I have to keep my dog on a short lead now because if she is on a long lead, it won't retract into the handle and I think that would be dangerous should my dog decide to dash into the street. The lead has also twisted which also makes it difficult to retract. Maybe just mine is defective. I wouldn't buy another one. It IS very pretty, though.I would suggest to the manufacturer: thicker ribbon and wider to it doesn't get twisted. 17 bucks, lost. Sorry, Keith

Love this leash
Love this leash! It is my 2nd one. Have always used the flexi all tape leashes. Like the neon leash and that it is so visible. The locking mechanism slides up and back easily. Very comfortable in my hand. And, so nice looking!

Very comfortable
Loved this leash when we bought it about 6 months ago. Super comfortable. It snapped a few weeks ago unfortunately on our walk and we had to tie it back together. Disappointing since we have loved it.

So far so good!
It took me a while to get learn how to use this....probably my age. My son had it figured out right away! Now that I know how to use it, I really like it. I am worried that the button to tightened and untighten might break. So far so good.

Great Leash-The dayglow color makes it easy to see at night!
This is a very nice leash! The retracting system is very smooth and I love the dayglow color. It makes it much easier to see at night.Revised review-I received this leash in April. Worked great for 3 months and then no longer would retract. I have attempted to contact the Growpetz company but the only contact is through email and no one has responded.

Garbage. Lasted less than two months.
Rubber thumb button worn down to a pink nub. Cheap rubber. The internal break has popped open and let our dog free twice now. She's 7 pounds, not a great testament to the quality of the leash.

Needs a bigger grip hole
The only complaint I have about this is how small the grip hole on this is as once you attach the dog bag holder, there isn't much room for your hand so it's constantly hitting the dog bag clip. However, the colors are great, it's very bright for night walking, and it retracts well.

Nice, but doesn't last
This item was terrific for about 4 months, then the mechanism started jamming and eventually it stopped working completely.
