A very handy, flatter pouch with front and back MOLLE straps. I wont be using mine for storing ammo magazines, rather I attached it to my MOLLE backpack to use as a map case and as a truly admin type pouch with a notepad, pencils etc. On the outside I've attached several smaller MOLLE pouches with basic first aid kit tools and materials and a MOLLE knife pouch. The inside of the pouch held far more maps, notepads etc than I expected and I am very pleased with this bag, especially for the price!

Ordered from Hank's Surplus, shipping was prompt and item received was exactly as described/pictured. Appears to be in new/unissued condition. As others have said, it is intended as and looks like it will function well as an easy access admin-type pouch. As others have also said, it certainly could function well as a general use pouch to hold anything - could definitely hold a decent amount of loose rounds, a few pistol mags, or shorter rifle mags (ie 20rnd Mini-14). There is a small non-sealable pouch within the front inner wall of the unit and a slot in the lid flap that I assume is intended for a pen. Either of those areas might be useful to store something like a tool/other supplies you need for weapon/mag/optic maintenance. Please note that although this would be a good cheap MOLLE pouch that may serve multiple roles depending on your need, do not expect it to be big and bulky and able to function like a large drop bag.

The ACU digital pocket works well, and closes with velcro, it has a loose molle structure on the anterior of the map case. If you want another very inexpensive and well designed pocket, with tight velco and sturdy molle weave on the face then get the coyote brown, side plate carriers, you actually get 2 of them, and can't beat the price. But if you want everything in matching acu camo, then these will work, but the coyote brown side plate carriers are more rugged and have better velcro.

I'm going to say it right now...anything that is Mil-spec and official MOLLE II is amazing quality and an amazing value. You might be able to find things like this cheaper that aren't Mil-Spec, but the official stuff is built to last and take a beating (just ask any Army/Marine buddy). I have it attached to a backpack and keep pens/coins/wallet/keys in it, but it is an ok size. Wish it was a bit bigger, but that's not its fault. Size is correct on description and no complaints.

The interior pouch was not sewn correctly, one side of the interior pocket the thread was nearly all undone. Didn't bother sending it back because that would have been more of a hassle, just sewn it back on myself and now it's fine. Shipping was great tho lol

While these were initially designed as sustainment pouches, I find them extremely useful to use as general storage packs for organization of other gear as well. Condition of pouches were like new; all buckles, clasps and drawstrings were 100% functional.

I wanted this as an ammo dump pouch, it will comfortably hold 70 rounds of .308 ammo, it is a very well built and durable pouch, the velcro is good and strong, I liked it so much that I ordered 2 more, very good product and priced great
